Lennon recorded the original demo around 1977 at his home in the Dakota Building, New York City. The lyrics reflect love, longing, and emotional vulnerability, typical of Lennon’s late-career songwriting.
This 'virtual orchestra' version was recorded with a MacBook Pro, running Sibelius Ultimate and NotePerformer5. Orchestra arranging, piano, vocals and bass performance by me. Lennon's vocals are from the original demo.
