Pronounced Kaa-RrrEEN (hard K, roll the R)

Armenian-American vocalist, songwriter, videographer and composer/producer KÁRYYN is a qauntum spiritual time traveler.

Following a prolific period of inward healing and creating, she readies her Calm KAOSS! EP, a work created in partnership with British record producer James Ford. The project sees KÁRYYN commune with her past, present and future selves, traveling through time to reveal transformative premonitions from the future in scientific and spiritual language.

Her debut release The QUANTA Series saw her unpack and explode her past to dizzying effect. The press dubbed her “a sonic architect” (Dazed); “an electronic adventurer” (FACT) who “makes music as a way of travel, moving through memories with sound” (CLOT Magazine). In the album’s Pitchfork review,Sasha Geffen wrote: “Death hangs heavy over the record, but in its shadow, KÁRYYN projects herself into the future.” 

With the upcoming Calm KAOSS! EP, she offers three tracks: the first offering- a plea to recognizing personal strength, wholeness, resolve, and singular consciousness through the lens of Sumerian Myth and Vedic philosophy (‘the REAL’).

The Elephant Parallax is a heavy-eclectic band native to Los Angeles. Its members include David Renteria on guitars, Stephen Charouhas on bass, and Paul Charouhas on drums. Vocals are shared by all members. The founding member, David, formed the concept for the band in 2007,  a musical symposium of united outcasts, and found Stephen and Paul to complete the group. The band started working on arranging complex and challenging material, with a frontiersman approach, where each member's influences and musical personalities were explored. The group completed a demo in late 2007 entitled Apes Who Looked Up followed by their debut album, the Elephant Parallax, released in 2010. The band's live performances showcase their diverse musicianship, intense energy, and raw passion forged and driven by sound, in full spectrum. 

Loam & Sky is the sonic exploration of earthly lows and divine highs, the microcosmic space of thoughts and dreams, devastating loss, love and the ability to evolve through time. A paradigm-shifting, range broadening EP that leaps forward into new sonic spaces for The Elephant Parallax.

Blackmore, the metal band forged by fire and melody, is based out of Los Angeles, CA.  From melodic guitars, to strong rhythm sections, the band pushes a mixture of a modern and progressive metal sound with contemporary lyricism.

 

Recently joining forces with Blackmore is lead vocalist of VIZA, K’noup, who has spent years a seasoned frontman touring alongside bands such as Serj Tankian (System of a Down), Skindred, and Gogol Bordello. K’noup’s performances demonstrate a genuine art that allows audiences to hear, see, and feel a truth in the music.

 

Blackmore has finished their full-length titled NEO with producer Yury Anisonyan.

 

Blackmore is made up of K’noup on vocals, Shaunt Sulahian and Vahan Aslanyan on guitars, Andy Terzyan on bass, and Vinny Mezian on drums.
