Life Goes On

When the wind swirls in your hair and the waves gently lap on the shore, you're hearing the music of this track. Swirl will make you see the horizon over the blue sea and the gently flashing reflexions on the surface of the water. A little stream crosses the beach and some singing birds fly down to drink fresh water from it while they chirp peacefully and flutter back up to the branches of the trees neighbouring to the beach.

Hey there! Welcome to my SoundCloud presence.

My name is Arno Behl, and I live in Cologne, Germany. I’m a music teacher who specialises in saxophone, guitar, and flute.

I started playing classical guitar at the tender age of eight. During my studies at the Robert Schumann Institut Düsseldorf, I travelled to Paris and bought my Selmer Tenorsaxophone, which I still use today.

Back in 1988, I began making music using an Atari 1040ST, a Roland D10 keyboard, and Steinberg 24 recording software. It’s incredible to think that it’s been 37 years since then!

Today, we have a fully equipped recording studio at our fingertips.

The music I share on SoundCloud covers a wide range of styles. From a jazz saxophone quartet or a classical guitar piece to an electronic iPad track created with Logic Pro on macOS.

I particularly enjoy jazz, funk, ambient, and lounge music. If you’re interested in collaborating on a project, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Wow, hadn't realised what a journey SoundCloud would take me on.  After many years of passive listening to music I've dieted on a variety of tastes. My appetite for new sounds is undiminished and SC provides plenty of food. I am not a musician and have only recently started to listen positively to the sounds. My early years began listening to music from ABC, The Beatles, The Carpenters Dire Straits Eagles Fleetwood Mac Genesis Elton John Led Zeppelin Gilbert O'Sullivan Rod Stewart Supertramp Tangerine Dream Vangelis The Who and many more.
