Prepare to confront your own anger, fear, and insecurities as we take a deep dive into our collective shadow. Let the music be your anchor and your motivation. Make sure you're in a safe space where you can fully surrender to this practice and don't hold anything back.

There are many different approaches to building the journey we call Ecstatic Dance. Here at Ecstatic Dance Records we refer to the following “phases” for the Ecstatic Dance journey: 
Arrival * Buildup * Peak * Cruise * Landing * Integration 

Arrival tracks welcome the community to the space and the dance floor. Buildup tracks get the energy moving. Peak tracks are for catharsis and climax. Cruise tracks are played between peaks, giving the dancers a chance to get recharged. Landing tracks carry the dancers down from the final peak into the heart. Integration tracks are played at the end of the journey to hold the “beingness” after all of the dancing “doingness”.

(For those of you that love some good ol fashion deep house ~ you get to have a fun little party starting at 2:00:00. Besides that, ethnic house will be found weaved in between chants and jams from all genres and styles throughout.)
