Born in Argentina, but living most of her life in the Canary Islands, and currently residing in the city of Barcelona, Imox entered the world of mixing during her adolescence, teaching herself, experimenting with different genres until she found her sound marked by a high mental, organic and enveloping content.
Imox is a Mayan Nahuatl, it represents the divinity or essence of the universe, the very root from which all life arises and to which it returns when it dies; and this is how her sessions unfold, an organic evolution like the very process of life. Her sound transports us to the atmospheres and natural landscapes of the island of her childhood, accompanied by hypnotic grooves, tribal elements and cosmic textures, a progressive journey through unknown dimensions with overwhelming intensity.
Imox is member of Barcelona based collective SubRadio.
Since she started to play as Imox, she has been showing her finesse in the mix and her great music selection in the main clubs of the city such as Razzmatazz, Apolo, Moog, LAUT or Red58, and this 2023 she will play at Mostra Festival.

The Svarog project began in 2014, with a release on the Spanish label Circular Limited. Since then, the artist has released a lot of music on top labels of the genre, such as Semantica, Dynamic Reflection, Affin, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, NODE and others.

His music immerses you in a hypnotic atmosphere, the landscaped textures and saturated timbres on the tracks create a magical flow, forcing the listener to dive deep into dance or meditation. In 2014, the stars aligned and two young producers joined forces to form ALPI, uniting their energies, creative spirit, and shared love for vinyl and machines. The result - dynamic, refreshing, ethereal sonic explorations containing the beautiful ALPI spark we’ve come to love. Their efforts to create a sound that is their own has, in our view, paid off beautifully, although we’ve no doubt the experimentations continue.

Aside from their productions (Semantica, The Gods Planet, Planet Rhythm, Piano Forest et al), we adore the ALPI essence flowing through their mixes, and this epic contribution to On the 5th Day is the ideal way to seal a slice of the magic within On the 5th Day’s treasure chest. Achieving a characterised base by long and reverberating pads, enveloping textures, minimal percussion and psychedelic synths. Art Bei Ton is an artistic project focusing on merging electronic music and visual arts, though the promotion of events, podcast series and a label.  

Organizing events in Berlin and Europe, our goal is to create some immersive experiences, offering Hypnotic Techno/Ambient DJ sets and live acts, together with VJing, art exhibition, interactive audio-visual installations, performances, panels and workshops.  

Curating international artists, we want to embrace more inclusivity in the scene through the promotion of diverse and gender-balanced line ups. It is important for us to highlight female artists, queer actors of our community and fight together against all kinds of discrimination.
