Recorded in May 2013 by DVNT this mix was the third produced for the @concrete-DJz radio series Beton Show. Over 1hr and 40minutes Mike traverses techno textured sound taking in elements of acid, glitch, industrial, grime, broken beats, drone, techno, and of course, bass.

Featuring tracks by Lee Gamble, Roly Porter, Planetary Assault Systems, Makaton, iFormat, Si Begg, Sleeper, Diamond Version, EOMAC, Miles,  Savagen, Inigo Kennedy, Ingen, Bam Bam, Phat Chex, The Bug, Raime, and Borealis.

Inertia (Resistance Mix)

Originally saved under the working title of 'Microspunto 13', this piece started out as a test of a Steinberger guitar I built from scattered parts found on the internet. I still own that guitar and it is one of my favourites and most used guitars ever.
The track was made in my home studio in late August and early September 2010 and never made it beyond the DEMO stage.
There is also an alternative version of the track with an electronic drum section created by Tommaso Fiori. I'm looking for it in the archives, as soon as I find it I'd like to put that one online too.

Slowly the night sets in. A light breeze conveys a nostalgic air. What we were no longer exists. Everything changes slowly, without our noticing it, just as it is difficult to distinguish the shifting of the moon in the immense night.

To make this track, I played clarinet, glockenspiel, keyboard and blew into various objects. Recorded with my Zoom H2 recorder.

My album Fû is centered about aerial elements and woodwind. It's a kind of ode to the natural world, to the trees, to the birds and also a musical journey for any dreamer. I recommend to listen it with headphones for the best experience!
