This is what sound truly is: sculpted time. And this is what time truly does: dances to the music of the cosmos.

If these shapes feel familiar, it’s because they are. Everything in nature follows this helical path—galaxies, tendrils of vines, the shells of sea creatures, your own DNA. The spiral is the universal signature of growth, coherence, and memory.

Sound is not just something we hear. It is something the universe remembers.

And so are we.

Here you`l find various types of electronica and some kind of consonant contemporary music (such as the Frozen Lake track). The music is intended for the living room and the bedroom, not the dancefloor. I , generally speaking, try to make music that is original.

I use the following daw`s : Ableton Live and FL Studio. And various plugin softsynths and plugin fx.

I am interested in visual design too. All of the photos and most of the graphics on my Soundcloud profile are my own creations. Same with my bandcamp profile.

I’ve been a huge fan of the club scene and have enjoyed countless weekends seeing all the top DJs (at the time) and loved mostly every minute of it.  Without sounding too corny I love the way that really good tunes fuel your emotions. I have the upmost respect for progressive house and deep house genres as well as a love for the old style house.

Beneath the streets of Shiraz, there’s a bloke called Sasan. He crafts sounds for himself and his mates, both real and virtual. He’d be well chuffed if you gave his work a listen, here and there.

AME - Art Meets Electronica is an art & electronic music project by UK based composer / producer and conceptual fine artist Nigel Weeks.

All elements of the production including graphics and cover art are the artist's own work. The tracks are written in MIDI, sequenced from scratch, note by note with the minimalist use of audio samples.
