The concept behind this split 12” is simple. Two artists who are divided by the Atlantic Ocean but unified by a love of classic New Beat sounds. Andi, boss of the New York City-based Synthicide record label/club night and Aufnahme + Wiedergabe recording artist, combined forces with Sheffield’s Industrialist and lover of underground Body Music, Randolph & Mortimer, to present their own interpretation to the unmistakable Belgian genre.

Thus, “Torque Force” was forged. A landscape where seedy neon-soaked city streets merge with the clang of hammers and of industry: Gotham versus The Steel City. Andi brings pure style to Side A with driving beats and rolling, lo-fi percussion overlaid by seriously funky basslines and ominous samples. Side B is jammed with the unmistakable dancibility found in Randolph & Mortimer’s oeuvre that forces the body to move —with intense, in-your-face synth lines and precise beats, there is no choice but to dance.

The four tracks on “Torque Force” are not just uber cool dancefloor killers, but could easily soundtrack a slew of 1980s dystopian cyber-sleaze movies. She must have violated the program…

‘Palais’ is a 12 track multi-faceted exploration of Kris Baha’s musical sensitivity. The one man band’s namesake LP title, ‘Palais’ is based around the concepts of alienation, detachment, melancholia and lust. All songs written, performed, recorded and mixed by Kris between 2015 - 2018 in Berlin, laced in his signature industrial sound.
‘Palais’ encompasses a range of shades from dance-floor works ‘ Living Nothingness’, 'Brink Reality (Part 2)' & 'Non For The Sane’ to experimental cinematic undertones 'You Told Yourself This Would Get Worse’. Also embodied are modern classics like the machine funk metallics of ’Steel Sands’ and ‘Defied’, a year 2042 cyber punk hit. There’s even a dark room inspired theme for the black leather lovers. From his own batch of psychedelia to post-punk and electronic romanticism this album is full of surprises and Cocktail d’Amore Music is absolutely proud to present this outstanding work.

PREMIERE : Kris Baha - Non For The Sane

Following releases this year on XXX and Nein, Italian duo Younger Than Me now make their debut on Jennifer Cardini and Noura Labbani’s Dischi Autunno with an outstanding, explorative, yet inherently (and beautifully) 90s-feeling five-track EP.
Three originals, two remixes: ‘Mind Hunter’ leads the cosmic charge, ploughing us beyond the known universe on a ship of acid and pulsating warm analog synths. ‘Feeling Breath’ takes us even deeper into electronica’s most formative decade with an uptempo thrust, more acid and wry elements of trance before ‘Sewer Rat’ takes us deep underground with much more of a percussive techno twist. 
Remix-wise Jennifer has recruited the perfect complementary artists: Acid Junkies (who made the first record she ever learnt to DJ with back in 94) flip ‘Sewer Rat’ into an almighty acid juggernaut while Shan once again reminds us why he’s the master of modern rave a stunning eight-minute, break-based twist on ‘Feeling Breath’.

Vinyl purist and music activist since the first appearance of Raves, Umwelt has over 40 releases and two record imprints. Known for his raw analog sound of electronic music, he again convinces with »Beyond Celestial Limits« for LAP records.
