Surprise new album and label from London-based producer and Andrew Weatherall collaborator.

‘A Snowstorm in The Tropics’ is Timothy J. Fairplay’s first album since 2017’s ‘Where Is The Champion?’ and the first release on his new label Dungeon Module. Made up partly of tracks popular in Timothy’s recent streamed live performances, but which have never seen full release, and completely new unheard material. Like much of Timothy’s work, it is a mix of Electro, proto-Techno, wave-y Italo and Cosmic Music recorded using only hardware from his studio in a warehouse somewhere in North London. The title track ‘A Snowstorm in The Tropics’ meanders through snow fog Berlin School melodies pinned down by a huge Dub Techno kick. ‘Fish Island Emotion’ is like a lost 80’s Italian House classic. ‘Ecstasy Nausea’ features a return to the deep wrong sample-rate voice Timothy used on the infamous ’Cleopatra Loves The Acid’.

Cassette comes in an old computer game style tape box with a Dungeon Module sticker, plus download.

GOODNIGHT DAYLIGHT is an expansive retrospective compilation of the catalog’s most influential tracks, backed with new versions and remixes from @enemy-records' latest crop of rising talent. The compilation features 5 new remixes of Dustin Zahn’s back catalog along with two new versions of Truncate’s cult classic, “Pad Mode.” It all caps off with a 31 minute odyssey from Minilogue that is finally available again for the first time in years.

Since 2004, Enemy Records has served as a hotbed for upcoming Techno producers and visionaries. Through Zahn’s careful A&R process, the label has been responsible for releasing a number of the earliest (and often times debut) EPs from artists such as DVS1, Truncate, Psyk, Regal, Boston 168, Emmanuel, Z.I.P.P.O (3KZ), Flug, and more. This foresight also extended to remixes and appearances from the likes of Donato Dozzy, Rrose, Mike Parker, and others during their meteoric ascent.

17 years and 65+ releases later, it can be difficult for aspiring DJs to know where to start looking. Goodnight Daylight dually pays homage to the artists of the back catalog while introducing the current generation to music they may have missed out on. New exclusive content also features a diverse range of remixes from Zahn’s old tracks featuring Blenk, Rene Wise, Nastia Reigel, Z.I.P.P.O and Gabriella Vergilov.

Two tracks which stood the test of time will stand just a little longer now, thanks to Truncate delivering faster, updated mixes of “Pad Mode” and “Truncate 18.” After a brief disappearance, the full 31-minute version of Minilogue’s "Clouds and Water" is available again.

The digital compilation will be supplemented with merchandise including reprints of the iconic “Goodnight Daylight” label shirts, and a highly limited mix tape for the 10 people who still have a tape deck. Additionally, a signed poster from select Enemy artists will be auctioned away for charity. Finally, some U.S. based artists will come together this year at Enemy Records’ first annual techno festival “The Great Beyond,” scheduled for July 30 through August 1st in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

From Another Mind celebrates its fifth anniversary with 'Versionen 008’, a mammoth remix package of SHDW & Obscure Shape tracks from Héctor Oaks, Ø Phase, Exium, and more.

Comprising nine remixes of the German producer/DJ outfit, 'Versionen 008' covers four sides of vinyl and features adaptations from a wealth of modern techno talent, rising stars, and scene veterans alike, with Hadone, MRD, Stigmata, Exium, Héctor Oaks AKA DJKAOS11, Introversion, Ø Phase, and DJ Boss making contributions.

With the influences across the release darting between acid, techno, and rave, 'Versionen 008' is a no holds barred journey into the sounds of dark, cavernous rooms and sweaty basements alike, providing a keen insight into who SHDW & Obscure Shape are passionate about as artists.

From the fast-paced, dub techno infused MRD version of ‘Der Weg Des Kriegers’, the explosive energy in Exium’s remix of ‘Blick Des Bösen’, to the two versions of ‘Die Augen Des Teufels’ by Stigmata, who effortlessly provides a dose of early 2000’s nostalgia, all aspects of the pair’s musical tastes are covered. Héctor Oaks takes ‘Kein Entkommen’ in an otherworldly direction, painting the track with his signature voice, while Ø Phase brings his powerful and hypnotic sound to the duos ‘Verlorene Seelen’.

Elsewhere on the release, ‘Die Prophezeiung’ receives a shot of trancey energy from France’s Hadone and Introversion breathes new life into ‘Blisswunden’, developing the track into a melodic dream
amongst metallic percussion. The penultimate ‘Feuersturm’ gets the DJ Boss treatment, as the Slovakian DJ/producer transforms the track into a dynamic late-night roller.

Taking in these variety of moods across the remixes, the compilation sways between different strains of techno, from anthems to DJ tools, covering both modern and vintage to provide a diverse compilation
that will no doubt be warmly welcomed by DJs and listeners alike. Favouring fiercely high-energy and gritty productions, the duo has used the label as an outlet for their dark, intense sound to the rapturous responses from DJs and dancefloors and 'Versionen 008' sees them celebrate five years of the imprint in typically uncompromising fashion

Three Faces of Eve bring four slices of rave techno heaven, in this riotously slamming but equally bright offering for OBSCUUR. Vocal snippets, heavy heavy drums and the kind of synths that make you go just a little bit wild. There's some great variety across the tracks, from squat style acid to broken beats and plenty in between.
