This song has the ability to catapult me into the fantastic world of fantasy, thus making me distract myself a little from the ugliness of this life full of evil, where children, instead of dying under bombs, can rejoice and live their lives under a sky full of sun and stars, where grass and flowers act as a carpet for their games. A FANTASY WORLD

This is part of the soundtrack I was writing many years ago for our videogame Cardhalia. Dwundur was a main city in the game. We were making the game with friends as kids, unfortunately it was never released. I have written the first 40 seconds of this piece when I was 16yo and then couldn't figure out how to continue with it. It was a nice challenge to return to this piece and "finish" it after almost 30 years later. With nowadays tools it is so much easier, with proper DAW and instrument libraries (and skills and experience). This is Spitfire Symphony Orchestra and PianoTeq. I mean, I'm no master, just a plain amateur, but it is such a fun to play with all the instruments of the full orchestra!

Released 02.03.23 to all streaming platforms, to be featured on "DVĀRAM." This track depicts the epic, Mediterranean clash between the Greeks and Persians at the Battle of Salamis in 480 B.C. After the sack of Athens by the conqueror Xerxes and his army, around 370 Greek triremes regrouped for one final attempt at halting the invasion force. Against the numerically superior 800 ship armada, the Greeks were triumphant at the straits of Salamis, saving Hellenic culture from the brink of potential annihilation.
