Staying true to his playful style of swinging between the past and present in his music, GRADES has created ‘Freedom’, his first original production built around a vocal hook from Jill Scott’s amazing ‘Golden’ with Jill’s blessing to do so, and we love it!

Ahead of the official release on December 6, Temple of Joy is thrilled to unveil Brains—a minimalistic EBM thriller by Helsinki-based producer and DJ Matteo Chisari, aka System Disorder. Head of Gravitational Waves Records and known under monikers like DJ Nephil and Constant Agony, Chisari has been flying the flag of raw electronics for many years, consistently defying trends and fashions.

BIO:
MELANIA . is a Berlin based artist who’s musical adventure began by the end of 2014. Since then she regulary plays Europe-wide and well known clubs like Tresor, about:blank, IFZ, Arena Club or last but not least, Suicide Circus, where she is a frequent host of the widely known Rituals series. Moreover she’s a co-founder of the project VERZERRUNG, which is mainly focused on the Industrial/Wave party series at the the renowned Project Lab in Poznan (Poland) besides that she is a frequent resident at Hirscheneck in Basel (Switzerland).
Above all that, Melania is firmly focused on her own productions, which so far have been released on aufnahme+wiedergabe, Oraculo Records, Subsist Records, Labrynth and Round.
Her eclectic sets are mostly based on energetic Industrial, Techno, EBM, Electro, Rhytmic Noise and Experimental. Means heavy genres which she periodically combines with a creative touch of uplifting and emotional melodies/vocals or unexpected change of atmosphere. Her selection is completely focused on her feeling, thereby it stays beyond limitations to a specific genre.
This sound evokes what is beyond the words, reaches directly to the heart and unleashes the soul. Each of her sets is a story with a complex plot, keeping her audience in constant suspense and anticipation. Her unique vibe relies on unpredictability and constantly being on the move.

Having previously released some rare solo material from Ende Shneafliet member Hanjo Erkamp AKA Dr. C. Stein, Artificial Dance is now serving up something special from the cult Dutch minimal wave band’s lesser-known side project, King Ende Shneafliet.

Adding “King” to their name in honour of original dub maestro King Tubby, King Ende Shneafliet produced far more experimental and out-there material than their better-known big brother. They released their first cassette, Dimension Mix Chapter I in 1981 via cult label Trumpett, with batches of follow-up material trickling out on various obscure tapes and later CD-Rs up to the year 2000.

Artificial Dance’s first dip into the Dimension Mix archives – a second vinyl volume will follow later in the year – features selections from Chapter II (1999), which was originally recorded between 1981 and ’88. The magical, mind-altering music is raw, lo-fi, spaced-out and forward-thinking, combining effects-laden, sample-heavy sound collages and reverberating ambient soundscapes with pulsating proto-electro jams, moody minimal wave instrumentals and kosmiche-influenced throw-downs. It effectively joins the dots between early-80s, DIY electronic exploration and dub soundsystem culture.

Hugh B has stitched together over an hour of new age steppers, heavy roots and spectral dub abstraction with only the most tenuous tethers to reality. A subdued companion to his ruffneck breaks mix that broadcast on Skylab earlier this year. No worries in the dance tonight. Trust!
