Regis at AYLI w/ Regis & Max Cooper 07.26.13

Veteran Tech/House producers Sojourner and Knowpiate (aka Nur Tiven and John Medeiros) teamed up to create the live original techno project, Beta Ghosts and have been bringing their unique sound and approach to techno to the American scene ever since. Their live shows consist of 100% original music, much of it created on the spot live in the moment. Their sound is minimal, techy, funky, and clearly their own - with recognizable "ghosty" synth lines, textures, and haunted atmospheres running throughout. 

Beta Ghosts has exploded onto the festival and club scene in the US during their first year of performances, playing alongside Gaudi, Emancipator, Beats Antique, Eskmo, Nerve, Orchard Lounge and Break Science. 

Each month they throw Spektre, a party dedicated to original techno, house music and culture in Boston, MA.

Having successfully raised enough money for their Kickstarter campaign to help fund, develop and produce their CS X51 USB/MIDI Control Surface they've also started to release their "Sound Of Sheffield" 4 part series, aimed specifically for the dance floor, using the sounds of the city to echo Sheffield's heritage in creating electronic music. Their mix for Inverted Audio features music from Arthur Oskan, Mike Parker, Cosmin TRG, Furfriend, Sigha and many more.
