「ねえレン、今日は絶対に負けられないね」
サオが笑いながら言うと、レンは少し照れたように頷いた。
「でも、勝ち負けじゃなくて…二人で一つの答えを見つけるんだろ？」

試験問題は難しかった。英語の長文、数学の応用問題。サオは焦って鉛筆を走らせ、レンは冷静に答えを整理する。時に意見がぶつかり、時に笑い合いながら、二人は答案用紙に「二人だけの答え」を刻んでいった。

テストが終わると、先生が「今日は特別に」と言って、答案用紙を星型に切り抜いて黒板に貼った。教室の壁には、ペアごとの星が並び、まるで一つのクリスマスツリーのように輝いていた。

「見て、僕らの星、真ん中にあるよ」
レンが指差すと、サオは嬉しそうに笑った。
「二人で頑張ったから、ちゃんと光ってるんだね」

その瞬間、教室のざわめきが消え、二人の間にだけ静かな時間が流れた。ペアテストはただの試験ではなく、**「贈り物」**になっていた。互いに支え合い、ぶつかり合い、そして一緒に答えを見つけた記憶が、クリスマス前の特別な思い出として心に刻まれた。

帰り道、街のイルミネーションが二人を照らす。サオが小さな声で言った。
「ねえレン、来年も一緒にペアテストしようね」
レンは少し照れながらも、しっかりと答えた。
「もちろん。僕らの答えは、まだまだ続くんだから」

雪が静かに降り積もる夜。街のイルミネーションがきらめき、教室でのペアテストの記憶がまだ温かく残っている。サオとレンは、約束通りクリスマスの夜に会うことにした。

二人は小さな公園のベンチに座り、手にした包みを見つめ合う。
「じゃあ…せーので交換しようか」
「うん、せーの！」

サオが渡したのは、レンの好きな青色のマフラー。レンが渡したのは、サオのために選んだ小さな銀のペンダント。二人は笑いながら同時に包みを開き、互いの心が重なった瞬間を感じた。

その時、不思議なことが起こった。
公園の古い街灯が突然、柔らかな光を放ち始めたのだ。雪は星のように輝き、二人の周りだけが温かい空気に包まれる。

レンが驚いてサオを見ると、サオの瞳に映る光はまるで祝福のようだった。
「これ…誰かが見守ってくれてるのかな」
サオが呟くと、風の中に微かな声が響いた。

「愛し合う者たちよ、互いを信じ、支え合いなさい」

それはまるでイエス・キリストの祝福の言葉のように、二人の心に届いた。

レンはそっとサオの手を握り、サオも握り返す。
「僕らの答えは、ずっと一緒にあるんだね」
「うん…これからも、ずっと」

雪は静かに降り続け、二人の肩に積もる。だが寒さは感じなかった。祝福の光に包まれたその瞬間、サオとレンのクリスマスは永遠の記憶となった。

رانہوفر آگ پر قابو پا رہا تھا،

ان کی حرکات ایک رقص جیسی تھیں۔
مصالحے ستاروں کی گرد کی طرح بکھر رہے تھے،
گوشت چاندنی کی طرح چمک رہا تھا،
اور چٹنیاں پگھلے ہوئے رات کے آسمان کی طرح گہری اور میٹھی بہہ رہی تھیں۔

ہر ڈش ایک ساتھ فن اور فریب تھی:

• ایک ٹیرین، جو ایک ہی نوالے میں چار موسموں کا سفر کراتا تھا
• ایک وائن ساس، جو زبان پر یادیں جگاتا تھا
• سنہری ٹرفل، اتنے الٰہی کہ رومی بادشاہ بھی گھٹنے ٹیک دیں
• اور سب سے عظیم کرسمس روسٹ — گرم اور روشن، جیسے کھانے والے کے مستقبل کو منور کر رہا ہو


اس میں کوئی زہر نہ تھا۔
پھر بھی ذائقہ براہِ راست روح کو چھو رہا تھا۔

✨ پہلا اور آخری عشائیہ

جب کھانے چکھے گئے، ہر مہمان ایسے مسکرایا جیسے اسے بصیرت حاصل ہوئی ہو۔

ذائقہ دیوانگی نہیں تھا، بلکہ شفقت تھی۔
مگر اس کی نرمی حد سے زیادہ تھی،
اس کی خوبصورتی ناقابلِ برداشت حد تک پاکیزہ تھی۔

پلیٹ در پلیٹ۔

ہر روح خوشی میں آزاد ہو گئی،
خاموشی سے اپنی تقدیر پوری کرتی ہوئی۔

ایک کرسی، پھر دوسری خالی ہو گئی،
یہاں تک کہ صرف شیطان کلاز باقی رہ گیا۔

اس نے اپنی شراب اٹھائی اور ایک خود کلامی کی طرح سرگوشی کی:

“کامل۔
کھانا — اتنا خوبصورت کہ روح چرا سکتا ہے۔”

رانہوفر اور اپیکیئس نے اپنی پلیٹوں کے ذریعے ایک دوسرے کو احترام دیا،
پھر آہستہ آہستہ غائب ہو گئے۔

جب اس “ناقابلِ تکرار عشائیہ” پر پردہ گرا،
ڈیل مونیکو کی روشنیاں نرم لہروں میں جھلملائیں۔

“고통은 피할 수 없지만,
계속 고통받을지는 선택할 수 있다.”

“고통은 적이 아니라, 이해해야 할 대상이다.”

The light that touched the edges of the pages swayed gently over the notebooks and reference books spread across the desk.

Haruto and Kanon were preparing for their next pair test.
But their eyes, tracing the lines of text, never quite settled—
as if only their hearts were wandering back and forth through a slightly distant future.

“Hey… what do you think about this?”

“Hmm… it’s not bad, but maybe we could dig a little deeper.”

Her words were polite, yet her voice lacked strength.
Haruto noticed that small shift and let out a quiet breath.

“Kanon…
you haven’t been able to stop thinking about our future path, have you.”

Kanon paused and slowly lifted her face.
The library’s soft light reflected faintly in her eyes.

“…You noticed?”

“Of course. I feel the same way.”

The next pair test.
And beyond that, the choice of high school.
A school that values learning as a pair—
appealing, yet still a future with blurred outlines.

“If we go there…
our time learning as a pair will deepen even more, right?”
Kanon continued, choosing her words carefully.
“But… what if we stop being a pair somewhere along the way?
Would I be able to keep going alone? That thought… scares me a little.”

Haruto couldn’t answer right away.
Silence settled softly onto the desk between them.

“…I’m anxious too. But you know… being able to move forward alone isn’t the only kind of ‘right.’
Choosing an environment where we can support each other isn’t wrong either.”

“Yeah… but what if that choice becomes something we regret later?”

The future wasn’t saying anything yet.
And because of that, the weight of their hopes was matched by the weight of their doubts.

After a moment, Kanon let out a small laugh.

“Hey… it’s rare for us to worry this seriously, isn’t it?”

“Hey now, that’s rude. We’re always serious.”

“Hehe… maybe. But…
I think worrying like this isn’t so bad.”

Haruto didn’t say anything—he just nodded.
Neither of them knew yet that this moment would someday be called “youth.”

Under the sky dyed by the setting sun, their shadows stretched out side by side.

“Hey, let’s talk it through properly,”
Haruto said, eyes fixed ahead.
“About high school, about the pair tests.
It’s our choice anyway, so I want us to decide in a way we can accept.”

Kanon nodded softly.
“The time we spend hesitating… I’m sure it won’t be wasted.”


16. Kanon and Haruto and pair tests and worries


Lớp kinh tế ở Trường Trung học Tomoiku luôn nổi tiếng với những bài tập đầy thử thách, và ngày hôm đó cũng không ngoại lệ. Khi nhiệm vụ cho bài kiểm tra theo cặp tiếp theo được công bố, sự phấn khích lan rộng trên gương mặt của hai chị em sinh đôi. Chủ đề lần này vô cùng lớn:
“Làm thế nào để tái cấu trúc nền kinh tế toàn cầu nếu tiền tệ không còn tồn tại?”

Trong thư viện…

“Để thay đổi hoàn toàn cấu trúc của nền kinh tế, trước hết chúng ta phải thống nhất tiêu chuẩn trao đổi trên toàn thế giới và đơn giản hóa cách thức trao đổi giá trị.”

“Vậy còn số hóa việc trao đổi giá trị thì sao? Chúng ta có thể tạo ra một hệ thống trong đó mọi hàng hóa hay dịch vụ đều được gán giá trị dưới dạng ‘năng lượng’, giống như một loại tiền tệ kỹ thuật số.”

Kanon và Haruto tiếp tục mở rộng ý tưởng. Hệ thống mới của họ, gọi là “Tiền tệ Năng lượng (Energy Currency)”, sẽ đo giá trị của hàng hóa và dịch vụ bằng các đơn vị “năng lượng” — thời gian, công sức, kiến thức hoặc đóng góp cho môi trường. Hệ thống này mang tính cách mạng vì nó cho phép đo giá trị trực tiếp mà không phụ thuộc vào tỷ giá hối đoái giữa các quốc gia.

“Chúng tôi đề xuất loại bỏ tiền tệ truyền thống và thay thế bằng ‘Tiền tệ Năng lượng’. Với hệ thống này, toàn thế giới có thể đo giá trị của hàng hóa và dịch vụ bằng một tiêu chuẩn chung.
Tiền tệ Năng lượng đo lường các giá trị trừu tượng — thời gian, công sức, kiến thức, đóng góp — thay cho tiền. Mọi người có thể dùng năng lượng mà họ tạo ra để trao đổi lấy hàng hóa.”

“Đây là một đề xuất rất thú vị. Nếu Tiền tệ Năng lượng thực sự được thiết lập, nó có thể vượt qua biên giới và sự chênh lệch giàu nghèo, mang lại cơ hội trao đổi giá trị bình đẳng cho tất cả mọi người.”

Một giáo sư khác nói tiếp:
“Tuy nhiên, trên thực tế, việc thống nhất phương pháp tính giá trị và tiêu chuẩn đo năng lượng trên toàn thế giới là vô cùng khó khăn. Nhưng nếu vượt qua được rào cản đó, việc loại bỏ tiền tệ có thể thực sự tạo ra một hệ thống kinh tế mới.”

Khi bài kiểm tra kết thúc và hai chị em sinh đôi rời khỏi lớp, họ nhìn nhau và mỉm cười.

“Ừm, vẫn còn nhiều thách thức, nhưng thử làm cũng đáng.”

“Đúng vậy. Và biết đâu, nếu một hệ thống như thế này thực sự trở thành hiện thực, thế giới có thể trở nên bình đẳng hơn và nền kinh tế cũng có thể thay đổi. Tớ nghĩ tương lai sẽ đi theo hướng đó. Sẽ thật tuyệt nếu ý tưởng của chúng ta có thể trở thành một bước nhỏ góp phần vào điều đó.”


22. Canon và Haruto và Tiền tệ và Kiểm tra Cặp

トモイク高校のホウカゴ…
冬の光が差し込む図書室で、カノンとハルトは並んで座り、ペアテストのテーマを見つめていた。

「日本のアニメーションの平和的活用方法」

カノンが小さく息を吸う。

「ねぇハルト。日本のアニメって、もう世界中で見られてるよね。でも…実際に子どもたちにどんなエイキョウをあたえてるかって、だれもちゃんとしらべてない気がするんだ。」

ハルトは頷きながら、ノートを開いた。

「確かに。だったら、まず“世界の子どもたちの声”を集めるところから始めるのはどうかな。特定のアニメについて、簡単な感想でも、アンケートでもいい。」

「うん。それを集めて、“平和に貢献しているアニメ”を特定していく…ってこと？」

「そう。例えば、暴力よりも協力を描いている作品とか、異文化理解をテーマにしている作品とか。子どもたちが“見てよかった”って自然に思えるアニメを、世界規模で探すんだ。」

カノンの目が輝く。

「それって、すごくいいよ！
しかも、選ばれたアニメに“平和マーク”をつけるの。大人たちが子どもに見せるときの基準にもなるし、アニメ制作側も“平和にキヨする作品づくり”を意識できる。」

ハルトはホワイトボードに大きく書いた。

「Peace Anime Project」

「名前つけたの？ なんか本格的になってきたね。」

二人は笑い合い、さらにアイデアを重ねていく。

「アンケートはオンラインで多言語対応にして、子どもでも答えやすいように“絵文字評価”とかも入れたい。」

「いいね。
“このアニメを見て、どんな気持ちになった？”
“どんなことを学んだ？”
みたいな、シンプルな質問にするのがいいと思う。」

「それを集計して、“平和にキヨしているド”を数値化する。もちろん、数値だけじゃなくて、子どもたちの言葉そのものも大事にする。」

「こうして集めたデータをもとに、次世代に届けるべきアニメを選ぶんだよね。」

「うん。
“平和マーク”は、ただのラベルじゃなくて、
“世界の子どもたちが選んだ平和の証”
って意味にしたい。」

「それなら、子どもたち自身が平和の担い手になるってことだよね。すごく素敵。」
