 "Soul" reflects the deep emotions and connections that music can inspire, while "Bloom" symbolizes growth, vitality, and the beauty of nature—in other words a meadow in full bloom. since ive been young i’ve always been drawn and dreamt about wild meadows blooming and it bringsme a sence of peace and inspiration , i write about it in my songs and on this new journey im embarking on, i want to be able to create an immersive experience, flowing effortlessly with sounds that resonate on a profound level, much like a creature moving gracefully through a Blooming Meadow .

Since a very young age, I've always been in love with music. As soon as I discovered electronic music, I knew it was something I've wanted to do. When I was 13 I got my first tracker, and began to learn the ropes using MTV Music Generator on the Playstation 1, and the rest is history! 

I've produced under a number of aliases and project names over the years, and been graced with support from so many amazing people since first stepping into the music world. My hope to is be able to inspire others to believe in themselves to follow their dreams as well, and  to stick with it!

The Metalheadz back catalogue features almost every major figure in the history of drum and bass, and is one of the most innovative labels out there, consistently crossing boundaries with its releases since 1994. Hailing from Kjipuktuk/Halifax Paraphraze entered into the realm of psychedelic music in 2006 on the shimmering sands of Goa and never looked back. With a deep passion for curating emotionally and mentally engaging soundscapes aimed at taking listeners on an immersive journey; Paraphraze spins a yarn filled with dark undertones and swampy sounds provoking one into a space of introspection and awe.
