Software engineer by trade, I like to play around with sounds as a hobby in whatever spare time I can steal.  This has been an on-again/off-again affair for me since my college days (early '90s) with my Amiga 500.  Over time, I have used a number of tracker programs to do this.  My current weapon of choice is Renoise.
