Liking the Alannah Myles Black Velvet styley intro to this excellent track. Superb guitaring. Karens vocals are always fab-u-lous!

Listening to Karen's moody/sweet vocals and Johan's guitars is like pulling on an old comfy pair of slippers,like coming home. Great work you two,a brill track.

Very nice arrangement. The drums are just great. I like the mood on this track.

Ashes for Dreams is the Irish/Swedish band project of Johan Alm (https://soundcloud.com/jambrains) and Karen O’Mahony (https://soundcloud.com/monnodb).

Both coming from completely different cultures and musical backgrounds - incorporating between them classical, traditional, folk and rock - they had each previously produced solo work vastly different to the other’s. 

Johan’s style is heavy rock with a unique and gritty vocal style and guitar work admired and envied by many. Karen’s natural home is more folk, which to their surprise works beautifully in a heavy rock setting. Together, they are a magical combination, particularly when they duet - their distinctive voices blending as if made for each other!
