Italo-Argentinian pianist Bruno Sanfilippo presents Light on the Mosses, a serene and elegantly sculpted felt piano composition. With a steady, hypnotic tempo, the piece carries a quiet melancholy that feels both intimate and timeless. The warm felt tone is subtly enriched by delicate harmonics, shimmering like a luminous aura around the melody. Light on the Moss

Spontaneously improvised this simple piano solo tune at the October morning. Enjoy!

For this improvisation I’ve used a new: VSL Studio Concert D 1887. I think this piano has a very cinematic sound. Also it has a bit “imperfect” sound which I really like. Honestly I’m a big fan of an “imperfect” and old school sound of a pianos.

My new experience of playing of an improvisation on the new: VSL Studio Concert D 1887. It’s more classical on this time. And I think this new piano is perfect for a classical music, especially if you want to add a bit “imperfect” sound for achieving a bit old school vibe.
