“I remember the feeling. I remember getting Goosebumps listening to my father entertain crowds and saying, ‘I need to do that some day.’” To move an audience – both literally and figuratively. Move them to dance, move them to sweat, and move them to have memorable moments that last a lifetime. Babies were made listening to Chris Garcia’s style of sexy tech house and groovy melodies. Somewhere along the way “Nice to meet you” becomes “I do.”
The easiest way to understand how far Garcia has come since landing in the States ten years ago is to pay close attention to the venues he has played. From opening the main stage at EDC in 2012, to the BPM festival in 2013. Chris has headlined nine of the top ten grossing venues in America, and more than half of the top 50. With headliner residencies at Playhouse in Los Angeles, Vessel in San Francisco, Set in Miami, Sutra in Orange County, and plenty of others.

While his preference for musical style is always deeper sexier and more subtle house music, living in Las Vegas forced him to adapt his style to give him the depth to play with mainstream commercial acts like Avicii, David Guetta, Afrojack, Steve Angello, Tiesto, and Deadmau5.
Garcia excels when he has the opportunity to play with DJs and producers whose playing style is similar to his, so he has matched up well when he played alongside Luciano, Jamie Jones, Steve Lawler, Dubfire, and The Martinez Brothers.

Regardless of preference, there is a great deal of pride that Garcia has in working in as many countries, cities, and venues as he has – and being stretched to play the variety of styles asked of him. That range brought him to over 150 gigs last year in venues averaging capacity of well over 1,000.

His endless desire to create and improve led Garcia to the studio to try his hand at production in 2009. Since then, Chris has had several top 10 hits in Europe after signing with Universal Music. His recognition as a worldwide talent began at remake of “Rhythm of the Night” entered the coveted Top 100 Singles chart in France in July of 2010 and stayed on the chart until February 2011. The track received massive play by DJs in the U.S. and was played on a weekly basis at Amnesia for almost 8,000 attendees.

In 2013, Chris has just released two new surprisingly underground remixes on Bob Sinclar’s Africanism label. Both “Fluto” and “Together Forever” represent a sound that is closer to what his fans expect from his late night sets.
To round out his worldwide reach, Garcia had his own show on Radio FG in 2010, alongside fellow DJs Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox, Pete Tong, and Bob Sinclar. Garcia’s podcast, downloaded by thousands of fans worldwide, features live mixes from club and pool sets, as well as releases of his newest tracks.

Sascha Cawa is a resident DJ at Kater and an essential member of the Holzmarkt 25 community in Berlin. He is highly respected as a DJ, producer, and an active member of the underground electronic music scene. Dedicated to his craft and passionate about music, Sascha stays true to the underground ethos that has shaped his career.

Sascha's love for house and techno music started in the 1990s when he began DJing. His performances have taken him to almost every renowned club in Berlin, as well as countless other locations around the world and to prominent underground festivals and events such as Garbicz, Fusion Festival, ADE, or Mayan Warrior.

In 2011, Sascha co-founded Katermukke with his close friend Dirty Doering, which quickly became one of the most influential imprints in the German electronic music scene. Although he left the label in 2015 to focus on his personal creative projects and interests, Sascha remains an active artist on the Katermukke roster, where he continues to push the boundaries of electronic music with his unique sound and vision.

Sascha has created a loyal following with his deep, emotive sound and released acclaimed EPs and singles on Katermukke and other respected labels such as Kiosk I.D., URSL, Upon.You, and Klaus:elle, showcasing his signature blend of techno, house, and electronica. His tracks are jam-packed with deep melodies, thrilling rhythms, and richly textured soundscapes, taking listeners on an emotional journey through the full spectrum of electronic music.

Beyond DJing, Sascha is proficient in producing, mixing, mastering, and coaching. He would describe himself as a nerd with a fascination for modular synthesizers, Drum Machines and a fetish for reverb plugins. In addition to supporting his friends and colleagues like renowned artists such as Britta Arnold, Dirty Doering, Nicone and many more, Sascha also helps customers from all over the world to bring their productions to a higher level.

Hoomidaas Records is the record label of the DJ/artist/producer/multi-instrumentalist Armen Miran. The word Hoomidaas is a stylized acronym for the phrase “who made us”, paying homage to how past narratives shape the present moment. Armen states, "I would not be who I am if it wasn’t for my past." This shows that he holds a deep respect for experiential knowledge above all else and intends to capture that through this label venture. Furthermore, when isolated as “hoom” in Armenian it means “raw” and when artists are invited to be a part of Hoomidaas releases Armen asks them to imagine what the raw part of the sun (the other side of the sun that we cant see) would look like. He loves to challenge their perspectives and hear what experiential wisdom emanates from his fellow creators. 
 
The music, artists, and artwork/design are a huge priority for Armen. His mission is to hand-craft every aspect of Hoomidaas adding to its memorable intrigue via his experiences travelling and playing shows. He tells us that, "a few years ago I played a 12 hour set surrounded by the most beautiful artwork all over the walls of the space. That space is called Rambalkoshe. Since then we have been collaborating with Rambalkoshe and they’re who made our vision and art design come to life for many of the illustrations associated with the label." The synchronistic nature of the partnerships he embarks on are a strong indicator that intuition combined with drive can take you somewhere truly magical. 
 
Currently the label works with a handful of artists. They have each of their artists release a mix on their mix series called “Midaas” which comes out every two months. Additionally the label releases bi-annual compilations, one in the summer called “Hoom Side of the Sun” and one for the winter called “Hoom Side of the Moon”.
