Through lockdown 2021, I spent a lot of time listening to music and daydreaming/visualising (and hoping) that we were going to get the chance to spend those few days in December at Neo again. All round fun guy, Jacob West is a well known face within Sydney’s electronic music scene. Having played some of Australia's best known parties and supported international artists, Jacob has forged a reputation for high energy sets and ability to get a crowd moving. Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Throughout my childhood I drifted between instruments and genres. Piano as a child; trombone as a teenager, bass guitar through to uni - all while covering music styles from jazz, funk, disco and progressive rock. However; later in life I realised nothing was as influential as when my Dad purchased of Logic 2 for Mac and a Korg X5 MIDI keyboard in the mid-1990’s - I’d sneak into his “studio” and was fascinated by the idea of being able to play and manipulate the sounds as I please. This was my discovery of my love and passion for electronic music.
Over 20 years later, I’ve spent almost every spare moment refining my passion into a unique and defined sound that takes influence from my past (jazz, funk and progressive rock in particular) and channels it into a unique electronic sound that sits somewhere across the spectrum of disco, deep house, progressive house and melodic house & techno.

Originally from the UK but now calling Australia home, Fraser has been immersed in the electronic music scene for over 15 years. He kicked things off in the vibrant world of Breaks and Drum and Bass before transitioning into the more deep, soulful vibes of progressive house. Drawing inspiration from the likes of GMJ & Matter, Jamie Stevens, and Alex O'Rion, he's crafted a sound uniquely his own.

Fraser's tracks are all about taking you on a journey with emotive melodies and basslines that hit just right. With a solid lineup of releases on respected labels like Meanwhile Horizons and Late Night Music, he's carved out his spot in the scene.

And let's not forget his latest drop on The Soundgarden – a real game-changer. 2024 is shaping up to be a a great year to be Fraser as he keeps pushing boundaries and keeping us hooked with his unmistakable sound. Keep your ears peeled, because this guy's just getting started!
