Hailing from New Delhi, Hamza has attained a reputation as a pioneer of the house scene in India and one of the more innovative and exciting producers today. Hamza’s diverse international sound is influenced from his strong musical background as well as growing up in India and traveling the world, living in Paris, Boston, and New York. Early in his journey, exposure to renowned house DJs such as Terry Francis, Dave Mothersole, DJ Heather, and Danny Tenaglia inspired Hamza to create his own electronic dance productions. Soon he found a unique style of house music combining deep, tribal, and funky sounds with strong world music influences.

In her words “This mix captures my state of mind which constantly fluctuates between high and low. An uplifting mid afternoon set at Neomenia 2021. So lucky and blessed for the opportunity to have shared the main stage with some of the big names around Sydney. So proud to be part of this community and the @fan.club.collective. Lucky me!

If I was born a Gypsy - Neomenia 2021

Here we have live set from Neomania 2021! I set out to make this to be an uplifting set to re-energize legs, bring smiles to faces and close out the already epic weekend with a bang. 
Thankfully it did just that! Was such a buzz looking out to see grins on the Neomaniac's and even culminating in a dancefloor singing Dreams by Fleetwood Mac. 
As a DJ I've been cultivating this sound over lockdown; just good house music with feel good vibes. It's something I've been wanting to do for a while so having the opportunity to execute it was a real privilege. 
I've like to thank Gabe, Oliiv, Jacob and the rest of The Fan Club crew who put on Neomania which was genuinely one of the best festivals I've been to. The organisation, execution, location, soundtrack and crew were all top notch and I can't wait to go back next year!

Recording of my set from Friday on the Main Stage at Neomenia 2021.  Words will never do justice to the events of these three days, and to have the opportunity to play some tunes for the beautiful crowd is something I will always treasure.

Through lockdown 2021, I spent a lot of time listening to music and daydreaming/visualising (and hoping) that we were going to get the chance to spend those few days in December at Neo again. This music in this set and the got me through those four months and was a huge thing for me to look forward to, so - hope you enjoy

As always, my absolute favourite gig of the year. I love how these sets stand as markers of where I am and where I aim to push myself as a DJ going forward into the next year. Here's my set from 9-10pm Saturday night, thanks again to everyone who grooved on the dance floor with me and everyone involved in @thefanclubcollective  - what a time!

What a week, weekend, two weeks. 

Being involved in the build of the mainstage from day zero of the build through to the full packdown, it was really special for me to step up to the decks Sunday afternoon before the burn and get to play some music. Had so much fun up there, thank you so much everyone for your dancing and smiling faces while I was playing, was infectious. Recording starts mid set around 15mins in, thanks Eddy for the recorder and Hamo for sorting it! Also a huge thanks to everyone involved in the build crew for such an epic experience @thefanclubcollective - till next year!

Through this research, Gui Motta reached the "Destaladeiras de Fumo de Arapiraca and Mestre Nelson Rosa" group, from Alagoas State, which is formed by five girls, from tobacco's rooms of Arapiraca City, of the Sítio Fernandes region, and Nelson Rosa, master of "Coco de Roda", a traditional round dance of brazilian sugar mills, with African drums influences. They sings, are intoned in several voices, with one voice doing the improvisation of the verses. Thinking about this chemistry, arose an idea to work this peculiar environment, and try to implement an experimental sound, with organic elements and rhythm patterns of typical instruments from Brazilian culture, giving an authentic uniqueness to the sound. With a conscious synergy, involved with a very simple footprint of electronic genre elements. In this way, Gui Motta does a work of valorization and sowing, of this rich popular rhythmic heritage, for dreaming to see a "plantation of lovers of Brazilian Northeast music".

This is my set from the Neomenia main stage, Saturday night 10-11:30. I recorded this post festival because I wanted to mark this set as a point in time, something to look back on and remember what we all did when we came together for a beautiful weekend at the end of a hard year. I had a LOT of fun playing this live Saturday night, hope that this can bring back some memories and get us excited for the next one!
