Margaret Dygas Live @ Closing Bar 25, Berlin

RDS presents his debut album E-mutations. Following his debut EP "RDS Theme" (De Lichting), subsequent "RDS Suite" (Kalahari Oyster Cult) and most recently “Force of Nature” (Spectral Bounce). “E-mutations”, is a culmination of his distinct approach.

The album comprises eight playful recordings ranging from introspective to heartwarming electronic music. “E-mutations” highlights patience and creativity, produced with a simple 64mb E-mu Workstation (1997). By avoiding the distractions of modern production, RDS focuses on the creative process itself, letting the music evolve naturally.

‘E-mutations’ releases both physically on a 100 limited compact disk, as well as in the digisphere.

Bas Dobbelaer & Vand - Tsuneo

Next in our mix series is Shjva, a Ukrainian DJ and producer based in Warsaw and the founder of the label and party series ‘Penumbrum.’ Since relocating, Shjva has established herself as a prominent figure in the Polish electronic scene while remaining a vital part of the Kyiv community, with regular sets at the iconic ∄, as well as appearances at Closer, Abo Records and Otel'.

This episode features a live recording from Shjva's set at the Ukrainian Festival ICKPA's club night at Jasna 1, in October. Expect an immersive journey through psychedelic tech house, dubby atmospheres, trippy acid and lowkey goa - mostly on wax, straight from the club.

Antron is a NYC based DJ specializing in layered, scifi influenced funk. Inspired by the Afroturist perspectives of Detroit techno and the rhythms of everyday life, his sets feature careful selections, subtle textures, and dynamic mixing to bring an undeniable musicality. He can be found playing throughout NYC, and deep in the mix for his show Basal Rate on 8 Ball Radio.

Like his counterparts from Berlin and Brescia, London and Ljubliana (the list goes on), Darren matches his hunger for unheard and regularly eye-popping records with a scrupulous attention to detail in the mix.  This podcast for Lisbon’s Assemble Music stays true to form, eschewing the heavier stuff for a masterclass in groove, mood and sequencing, with a real jaw-dropper or two along the way.
