With the group split up, there's nobody to stop it from festering, the anger and frustration building until contact is made. By then, it's too late.

It was a shame that the others had to come across a body before I was able to turn it back again.

Well. This really was a push to what the white noise could consume. I never thought I'd make it to this point but... hell. Why not.

It was weird to watch. At first, it continued to re-emerge, every time seeming a little bit weaker. It wasn't taking them all at once. But the chipping didn't take long. 
I didn't expect a giant sentient three to be the creative type, and my theories were someone correct. But with the weird things it spouted the few times it spoke only shown a fraction of what was going inside its head.
Maybe... maybe if it just had a second more, something different could've happened. Maybe something we'd never have expected. But into the noise, out we see the clone. As always. A tiring process, but one that needs to be done.

Right... today we started experimenting with the white noise on sentient life. We had a hell of a variety of subjects to choose from, so it was just put to random draw. Not publicly, of course - think of the panic that would break out! Selma Forrester was the "winner", and so she was quickly detained in the middle of the night and taken to the chamber. Underhanded, but... a lot's at stake here, so don't judge me too hard.

She seemed simply baffled at first. That confusion pretty quickly turned to fear as we forced her into the experimentation chamber. She knew something bad was coming. We all did, honestly. I myself was having some second thoughts, but... yeah. Had to do it. Quite hesitantly, we released the noise.

Immediately Selma backed away, eyes darting around nervously. But she didn't even get a step away before the noise was on her. It just, uh... consumed her. She was gone. Like, totally gone.

Then she was back like nothing had happened. Once the experiment had concluded, we examined her and didn't find any sign of exposure. The interesting part was the psych exam. She just seemed... not all there. Spaced out, you know? Like her mind was somewhere else. We figured she wasn't a threat to the others and let her go.

I don't know either. We'll need to do more experiments, see if this is repeatable. It sucks, but that's just how the cookie crumbles.

TTT has been the best thing I've made. Period.
There are a few imperfections here and there but I'm still really proud of how everything has been. The road has been very bumpy to get to this point, especially these last few months where I've been an emotional wreck, but I got back up and made TTT something I'm proud of again.
I've met so many new people and friends from making this thing, and I'm grateful backroom has even stuck around with this thing through the toughest of times. I care for every single person in backroom and I couldn't thank ya'll enough for helping out.

...Well, I guess this has turned out better than I thought. We've lost a few plants along the way, but this girl has been very, very cautious with her abilities. She seems so thankful that we've rescued her from whatever that was, and... I suppose that's with good reason. Being tested on for that long then abandoned can't be good for anyone. Frankly, I'm more surprised that she's even alive. Still, to those that could understand her, she's been a delight. We've had to find a way to translate her, and we're only just now getting that working, but it seems she knows sign-language. That's a start.

You know, maybe this whole thing won't be so bad. Even the ones I was a little more worried about have been civil through this whole thing. I can't say we've been doing half bad. I do hope we have someone vet the list though, I'd hate to have any severe issues.

For now, I need to run a few tests, figure out how to best prepare for the rest of the Zeta Protocol activations. I can't let this chance go to waste. We WILL stop the Shattered from destroying Second Heaven. 

We have to, because if we don't, there's nothing left for us.
