"Really" is a leftfield electronic instrumental I made in the final days before a domestic violence incident that changed everything. It is the last song of the album and the relationship of seven adaptive years.

There are no lyrics here. Just ambient textures, downtempo pacing, and leftfield electronica tension. It doesn’t process pain. It precedes it, almost anticipating what’s to come.

Built on a foundation of lo-fi loops and intuitive mobile production, the track captures a moment of eerie calm. Created without conscious knowledge of the trauma ahead, it is still steeped in emotional weight.

It explores space, restraint, and discomfort using sound design to build a psychological atmosphere.

This is the sound of unspoken recognition. A shift. Once a symbol of safety, your buoy becomes the very weapon of your destruction. It evokes the sensation of holding your breath just a little too long.

Level after level, you dodge pixelated enemies, rack up points, and feel the thrill of near victories. The crowd around you fades as you focus, lost in the digital world where every move counts. But as the final boss appears, your reflexes falter just a bit, and the inevitable happens—game over.

You stand up, a mix of satisfaction and frustration washing over you. The neon sign above flickers: "GAME OVER." Yet, you know you'll be back, ready to play again, chasing that elusive high score.
