Originally I started building the song around a few animal sounds of a bear as sort of a percussive element. But since they didn’t blend well with the evolving instrumentation I finally omitted them. Anyway, when writing this track I had a complacent bear in mind strolling around the woods and gazing at the stars until the bear finally becomes the constellation of Ursa Major (also known as the Great Bear) — hence the title of this song and the visuals in the music video.
