"That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind." In my view, the soundtrack is the driving force behind this film. It features ethereal sounds and memorable themes, anchored by emotive harp passages that beautifully underscore the intimate moments involving the Armstrongs.

I crafted this mock-up to deepen my understanding of the harp's role within orchestration and how it functions as well as to refine my ear for musical nuances.

🎹 ORCHESTRAL PROGRAMMING
Orchestral programming is the art of creating lifelike orchestral music using virtual instruments on a computer. It involves meticulously layering and shaping each instrument's part—such as strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion—to sound as if a live orchestra is performing. Through detailed control over dynamics, articulations, and timing, composers can evoke the depth and expressiveness of a real orchestra. My goal is to produce music that captures the full emotional and sonic range of live orchestration, allowing me to bring my visions to life with just a keyboard and a keen musical ear.

The instrument is a Clavia Nord Stage 2 using a sampled Yamaha C7 with a generous amount of reverb and phaser, and a thin layer of strings.
