This playlist is a compilation of the favourite musical discoveries of the Wud Records team from everything they heard at SoundCloud during March 2017.

Tracks have been arranged according to the number of plays at the time of publishing, starting with the fewest. Tracks that are early in playlists tend to receive more plays than later tracks, and we feel that the ones with fewer plays need the best chance of exposure.

This playlist is extremely eclectic, so if the track you are playing isn't doing it for you, try the next one. It will probably be completely different.

With squelchy delight, Shanti Planti is proud to release the first premier of a two part VA – Rhythm Code. Featuring 15 producers from the USA, France, UK, Australia and New Zealand, this VA is soaked in dreamy eastern instrumentals, squidgy crunches and soul shaking bass lines. Rhythm Code showcases a mind expanding stew of psydub and midtempo treasures. Each track was donated without intention of individual profit but in means to support expansion and to help sustain the auditory collective, Shanti Planti.

Ink. - Subliminale

This track evolved from a first patch created on Arturia's CS80V, (the main sequence). From there I filled it out with the signature VP330 strings and choirs and some further CS80 horn calls and it took on a bit of "Blade Runner" feel.
I do love this Vangelis sound palette! As a fan its a joy to get lost in :)

Hades

Another track I made for moving image. This was for an animation based on the Greek myth of Theseus & the Minotaur. I wanted to try and capture that intense symphonic sound of Vangelis, the drama and the action.

Labrynth

In terms of capturing a Vangelis sound, I'm really happy with this one. Again as a fan of this sound it was a joy to make, and its nice to listen to these textures, and feel the mood. Very definitely "Blade Runner" inspired, again following a jazzy vibe like "Blade Runner" blues.
The Syd Mead artwork also evokes that rich textured world that Ridley Scott so successfully created.

Sidewalk Diner

Around 1985 Vangelis released the album Soil Festivities, which alongside Blade Runner probably ranks as one of my all time favourite Vangelis albums. I think this particular sound palette is what I wanted to capture with this track. An evolving symphonic piece that reflects the movements of nature.

Another "Blade Runner" inspired piece. 
Bradbury building, dark, dank, puddles, roving spotlights, Roy Batty emerging from lift...

Man did we luck out on this epic 8 minute song of pure garage psychedelic bliss. If you were to go to see Brian Wilson, and if Brian Wilson were to play "Good Vibrations," the incredibly talented Mr. Probyn Gregory would be playing the Tannerin,which is a Theramin like instrument with a painted on keyboard so you can actually play musical notes. Fortunately for us over at Mod Hippie,  it is the same Probyn Gregory who plays the same tannerin on this wild and wacky way out track. (Again I say, the same Tannerin he plays with B.W. - which is mind blowing to me)
  This song also features my favorite vocal arrangement on the "Tomorrow Then" album thanks to the talents of producer Adam Marsland and the beautiful voice of Miss Teresa Cowles.

Dissees - My Style(Hip - Hop UA)

My latest track is an abstract artform of the biblical story David and Goliath. It starts with Guitar being my representation of David. And Bass For Goliath. After that the fight scene as bridge and the overwhelming happyness for the outro. I really enjoy the Moral of the story of facing your fears head on.
