Translippers is a psy-dub project of Arthur Mustafin, a composer and music performer from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. In 1984 he gained experience in jazz and rock bands as a bass player, but in 2011 this changed with his trip to India, where he seriously got into ethnical instruments. This led to Arthur incorporating these instruments into his own production, which significantly transformed his sound.
The perfectly mixed dub rhythm will relax your body, and the atmospheric electronica will inspire you. Prepare yourself to discover an entrancing blend of cultures through distinct flavors of Scandinavian and African drums, ethno-jazz vocals, chants of Miao from China and Chukchi from Yakutsk, Eastern and Latin American percussions, Indian sitar and Arabic oud, guitar, and harmonica.

We dedicate our album to the first human spaceflight — namely, Yuri Gagarin's heroic feat on 12 April 1961. Conceptually, our album is also inspired by marvellous and entrancing natural phenomena on our planet. One of them is the phenomenon of life on Earth.

Why do we refer to an image of kaleidoscope? In a kaleidoscope, various pieces of glass form a singular visual pattern. Similarly, the various music compositions of the album form, or rather weave, a unique auditory texture.
We hope you enjoy the texture! :)

Our musical work is a synthesis of various genres of electronic music (trance par excellence). We practice experimental approach to creating music and use 'live' original sounds during our performances.
