Thought it would sink in, I thought it would feel right, I wish I'd quit thinking, I wish it would seal tight, my mind keeps on turning it won't sit still, I'd keep moving but I lost my will.
Two ways to see it, I once had a feeling that I wouldn't free it, that I'd be alone dealing with the pain, its a loss, its a permanent stain.

Caught in the rhythm, it spins and I feel sick, another black ribbon, my childhood went by quick, it was hard, to face, always struggled to find my place.
If we could hold on to everything thats lost, we wouldn't be sold on with our souls at cost, its the price some pay, living in the world today.
