Summer Sol IX, our annual melodies of the sun, will be released on the summer solstice. 

A diverse cultural collection of 25 original songs, highlighting a kaleidoscope of international talent and global instruments,
the 9th edition of Summer Sol features artists from over 17 different countries. 

Alongside many frequent label favorites, such as Sabo, Derun, Guy Maayan, and Desert Dwellers, we are thrilled to introduce several emerging talents, joining the Sol Selectas family for the first time.

Embark on a sonic odyssey as modern dance grooves intertwine with chill-out rhythms, and ethereal melodies, paying homage to our ancestral roots, and drawing inspiration from traditional folkloric sounds found in cultures worldwide.

The cover art by Helia Jamali takes us to a paradise beach escape where the sun warms up every cell of your being, and the ancient sand grains hold the secret sounds of the universe.

On July 6th, 2024 I had the pleasure of playing a 5 hour open to close dj set in New York City, while cruising around the island of Manhattan on a Full Circle / Zero Boat Party. 
The sunset was perfect and the vibes were high, so I channeled my NY roots through my set, and brought in a ton of classics that really represent for me the energetic city I got my start in. Hope you enjoy the ride...

Born in Romania, and currently living in the UK, GruuvElement's makes his Mindshake debut following music on other prestigious record labels such as Fuse Records, elrow Music, Crosstown Rebels and Solid Grooves Raw.

GruuvElement's style is a fusion of flowing percussion and groove-laden basslines with infectious vocal hooks that light up the dance floor. This three-track release exemplifies his ability to find the perfect balance between deep atmosphere and upbeat energy.

The third track "Carnival" has an hypnotic groove orienting around a low-slung bassline and invigorating percussion.
