Banyan Records presents SISHIVA's 2024 live set, includind the 4 tracks from her upcoming EP on the label. The EP will be out on 23 May 2024 titled "Unearthly". It also contains released tracks from her last EPs and album. Born in Athens, Sissy Danou is one of Greece's rare female psychedelic trance producers. Having had a long-lasting passion for music since childhood, she started guitar & flute lessons before coming in contact with electronic music at the age of 14. In 2009 she returned to Athens to attend S.A.E. Studies of Audio Engineering! Totally inspired, she now has two projects focused mostly on exploring dark forest sounds. With meticulous attention to detail and creative sound design, her sound can be described as imaginative, playful and organic with next level psychedelic texture. Sangoma features LEMURIANS in this episode. This live set contains a blend of music from the present and past, played by Lemurians at the Ozora Festival Main Stage in 2024. LEMURIANS is the project of Janosch Riemann founded in the late 90s together with Andreas Kuchenbauer. The two nighttime-oriented full-length albums “Crystal Mind” and “Secret Message” made quite an impact on the global Psytrance scene. With another 50+ releases on numerous record labels between 1999 and 2004, Andy and Janosch parted ways. Andy moved to Norway and Janosch started to focus more on traditional songwriting never turning his back on music production though. The pulse of Psytrance never left JanOshs veins and after 15 years of not producing electronic music, JanOsh decided to go back to electronica and start over with fresh energy. In early 2019 Janosch started to make his way back into producing faster, dancefloor-oriented music. With releases on numerous labels and now signed to Sangoma Records, alonside playing major festivals like Ozora and Ethereal Decibel Janosch continues leaving an imprint on the psychedelic dancefloors of the world and is planning to keep on producing cutting-edge psychedelic music in the future.

Insomnia Records series’ next episode will be presented by Greece producer Mario Sounoglu a.k.a. MAKUMBA.

Mario Sounoglou is the Mind behind the Kokobloko, Darkshire and Makumba projects. Born and living in Athens, Greece since December 1984. Studied Computer Science in Lamia, Central Greece, then switched to Computer Animation to get his Msc Degree in Kent, UK.
Mario discovered Psychedelic Trance in early 2000 by enjoying music in Festivals and bit later Djing privately. In August 2004, Mario gets his first steps into production. At same time, Mario meets Viktor Zolotarenko in a visit to Greece and his Music Conception and Style is what influenced him to the most. His first release come out with Zolod Parasense/Terminator at Vertigo Records on 2005. Next releases follow in labels such as Discovalley Records, Tantrumm, Manic Dragon, Drop Out Productions, Mighty Quinn, Trishula, Foot Stomping Records..In 2006 the Kokobloko Project initiates it s Experiments (along with Gregorio Materia Increada/Gr.) Later on due to life complications he proceeds solo to the Kokobloko Project. His Debut Album ‘Darkshire & Amigos ‘Break Down’ comes in June 2009 in Helicon Sound System Records. Later this year follows his Split Album ‘Distorted Shire’ along with Nelsun ‘Mind Distortion System in Lycantrop Records. Meanwhile collaborations appear with Kolya Furious/Crazy Astronaut in Kolya ‘s Album Renegade in Osom Music and with Farebi Jalebi in Parvati Records. In Summer 2010 some more Releases come in Labels such as Pukkawallah (Japan), Lycantrop Records, Deviant Force Records (Germany). At Mid Autumn 2011, Mario established his own Music Label ‘Future Tribe Office’. In 2012 Future Tribe Office releases the debut Kokobloko & Friendz ‘ Pobeg V Budushee album. Later on this year Discovalley Records releases his last work of Darkshire Project , the ‘Path of Memories’ album.

At Autumn 2013 he launch his new project ‘Makumba’, evolution of Darkshire sound with it s Debut EP ‘Drawn to life’. He performed numerous times across Europe in Russia, Germany, Italy, France, UK, Belgium, Portugal, Austria, Ukraine, Slovakia, Czech Rebublic, Greece and Abroad Europe, in Japan, Brazil, India, Nepal. In September 2014 he releases the second full length Kokobloko album ‘FutureProof’ through Future Tribe Office’. In February 2015 A Collaboration with Matteo Radice from Italy leads to their collaborative ‘Brain Board’ Album Release also on F.T.O. The second Makumba EP “Spirit Matters” has been released on Insomnia records in December 2015 and since that moment Mario represents the label worldwide as a part of insomnian collective.

Here is a new set by Vantara Vichitra Records’ artist, FOREST BAMP!

Bam Verdugo a.k.a Forest Bamp was born in Madrid, and he’s currently living on Barcelona.
After going to some electronic underground parties, he got introduce to the psychedelic trance music ,and felt in love with it. He visited his first psytrance party in 2010, ever since his life completely changed, he found a place where everything was possible.
After visitings many parties and as a music freak, he started to collect the music he was finding no the web, and trying to express what psychedelic means for him through groovie and atmospheric Dj sets. In the same team, he start to make parties in his own town, Madrid, with the collective Ritual. In this parties you could find the most fresh and underground music in the psytrance scene. In 2015 he signs the Indian label Vantara Vichitra and starts to travel around expreding the word.
Since he started DJing, his music curiosity started to grow, and in 2017 he began to create and develop his own music, to create his own story. Some years after he he has released music in labels such as Vantara Vichitra Records, Urban Antidote Records or The cure, and visited countries like Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Portugal, U.K or Belgium playing his music.
In his performance, you can expect the unexpected and travel into places that no one has been before. Groovie basslines, deep atmospheres and eclectic leads will accompany you through the trip! Enjoy the Journey!
