Friday the 13th Part 2

It's time for you to listen to our new episode on the original Candyman!  Man, oh man, this movie is a wild ride and we are here for it!  You never know where this movie is headed next!  There are definitely some wild choices, but the ending is a huge payoff.  After watching this movie, we know three things: 1. Never say Candyman five times in a mirror 2. Giving someone a 1000 ml injection is impossible 3. Tony Todd is a total babe.  This movie is paired with a Bees Knees cocktail.

Candyman

So we are typically wary of reboots, but Candyman 2021 is an underrated gem!  It builds upon all the lore laid out in Candyman 1992 and kicks up the violence, but is not over the top.  Just like we highly recommend seeing a doctor if your arm appears to be rotting off, we highly recommend seeing this movie and do not, I repeat, DO NOT say Candyman five times while looking in a mirror. Candyman (2021)

We want to play with yooouuuu!  Well, we at least want you to listen to our latest episode, Pet Sematary (1989).  This is an interesting movie to watch because viewers run the gamut of emotions, from laughing out loud to covering their eyes in terror (for about 10 min in Marie's case).  There are also some pretty solid takeaways, like keep your cats indoors, don't let toddlers play next to busy roads, and never let your significant other single-handedly pick your house.  So stop your shilly-shallying, grab a Zelda cocktail and listen up!  You know the Zelda cocktail we paired with this movie is good since we were all too willing to have 3.

A serial killer, love triangle, and Patrick Dempsey?!  Thanksgiving has it all--including wild and gory kills you'll never see coming!  this movie is a rollercoaster from beginning to end and we are here for it! 
 The best part about this movie is karma comes for everyone in a big way.  This Thanksgiving, forget about all the family drama, because we KNOW this year is going to be a doozy, and listen up to our new episode on 2023's Thanksgiving.  There will be no leftovers.

Thanksgiving

Our newest movie, Silent Night Deadly Night, has all the hallmarks of a typical family Christmas.  Crazy relatives?  Check.  Childhood trauma?  Check.  Deranged, homicidal Santa Claus?  Well...maybe not everyone's typical Christmas...This movie starts extremely unsettling and devolves into a nipple-laden slasher with a disappointing climax (if you ask us).  This is another movie where the villain is not as clear-cut as you may think and you really want those villains punished!  Listen up as we discuss archery, Catholic guilt, and nipples, nipples, nipples!

Silent Night Deadly Night

The saga continues!  In honor of December's Friday the 13th, we are doing a Friday the 13th Part III commentary.  This installment has some standard elements (another crazy guy warning people) and some new features (a Crystal Lake biker gang?!).  Most exciting of all, we have the introduction to the iconic Hockey Mask Jason, aka, the Jason we all know and love.
