Josh Beck is a second generation DJ who got his early education carrying record crates for his Mother - one of Portland's first female club DJ's and an active member of its burgeoning queer community in the 1980's. 

Over the last 9 years Josh has helped produce VSSL with his partner-in-crime Remy Marc, one of Los Angeles' most interesting techno undergrounds; hosting international DJ's & acts such as Anastasia Kristensen, Niños Du Brasil, Iori, Ancient Methods, Demdike Stare, SHXCHXCHX, Shifted, and many others.

Together they host VSSL radio on DUBLAB and continue to curate heavy hitting techno gatherings in LA.

Globalized Swede - Amsterdam/London/New York/Berlin. Keen curator and connoisseur of alternative-electronic-post-punk tracks.
