The ensemble came to being in Città di Castello in 2015 at the 100th anniversary of the birth of the painter Alberto Burri. The group promotes contemporary music through new commissions, concerts, and insightful initiatives.

Since 2016, ensemble Suono Giallo is being featured as the ensemble-in-residence at the International ilSUONO Contemporary Music Week, a summer forum which takes place annually in Città di Castello, Italy.

Composer Contemporary Music

Sibylle Pomorin (*1956) studied from 1975 until 1980 flute and saxophone at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Münster, Germany. 

In 1984/85, she studied composition under Ernst Bechert in Hamburg, Germany and in 1994, she received composition lessons and an introduction to electroacoustic music from the American composer and electronic musician Alice Shields during a six-month stay in New York. 

Between 1982 and 1994 she toured with improvising musicians of the international scene and toured with her own groups and compositions through Europe and Israel. 

She received composition commissions for ensembles, festivals, broadcasting, and theatre as well as numerous prices and awards and was promoted by various working scholarships – inter alia in New York, Istanbul and Iceland. Scores publications and CD releases inter alia by Moers Music and in the Furore Verlag. 

Her music has been performed at international festivals for contemporary music in Europe, Israel, Mexico, Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan and the USA.

Born in 1994, the brazilian Nicolas Camargo was surrounded by many musical influences on his family. He started to discover his interests in eletronic music in 2000, but discovered Drum and Bass in 2009. It was the year that nCamargo discovered his deepest love in the eletronic music genre, after listening to a radio show on the online radio Bassdrive. On the start of 2010, he started to produce Drum & Bass music, and been focusing on producing the genre and others till now. In 2016 he created NCounter Music, label where will be released music in various styles from his multiple personal projects.

Nascido em 1994, Nicolas Camargo esteve sobre influencias musicais em sua família desde a infância. Começou a descobrir os interesses na musica eletrônica por volta de 2000, mas descobriu o Drum and Bass em 2009. Foi neste ano em que nCamargo descobriu um verdadeiro amor pelo estilo, após ouvir um dos shows da radio Bassdrive. No inicio de 2010, decidiu que a produção musical seria o caminho a percorrer e a seguir se aprimorando também em demais estilos musicais. Em 2016 foi criada a NCounter Music, local onde estará sendo feitos lançamentos em diversas vertentes musicais dos variados projetos do produtor.
