Le temps de l’automne, le temps où tout détonne, le temps désormais se conjugue au passé
Le temps des tourmentes, le temps de ne plus prétendre,
Le temps le temps qui court et qui s arrête et puis…

I am excited about collaborating with soprano Maribel Villarroel and arranger and pianist René Calderón. The lyrics are from Pablo Neruda's Sonnet IV from the book "100 Love Sonnets" (Cien Sonetos de Amor), translated by Stephen Tapscott. The Fundación Pablo Neruda has granted permission.

Recordarás aquella quebrada caprichosa.                                                                                                  a donde los aromas palpitantes treparon,                                                                                                  de cuando en cuando un pájaro vestido                                                                                                   con agua y lentitud: traje de invierno.
