Merry Xmas everyone! One more showcase to close off the year. We're going back to the early days with this one! (around 2002) Back when the term 'hardstyle' wasn't even, or was just conceived. Some tracks already have 'hardstyle' in their name, which was very cool of course ;) And some tracks would be considered more like hardtrance nowadays. For me it was the same. A new and fresh movement in harddance that I still love so much!

I'm building an archive of all my favorite tracks. Especially honoring and showcasing the forgotten gems produced by my favorite artists!

BIO:
I started listening to hard dance music in 1999, at the age of 12, the year I went to high school. My taste was pretty random in those early days. But soon the Bitte Ein Beat series would change all that. After purchasing vol.2 and listening it over and over, I knew I had found a new passion in life!

Back then, the term hardstyle wasn't even conceived. We called it hardhouse at first, but that actually never felt right. Luckily someone, somewhere, came up with the name for this new sound: HARDSTYLE! And it felt right immediately.

SIDE NOTE:
I love 'slow' mixing. Let the tracks breath for a bit instead of mixing 30 in 1 hour! Just my opinion ;)
