With the end of the year closing in, I wanted to go back 15+ years (!) with this showcase. I need my fix of 2006 ;) Such a great year for hardstyle!

I always liked Gigi's tracks, but never took the time to explore his discography. Works out that he made so much cool tracks! A true pioneer of the harder trance sound!

Italian Masters of Hardstyle VOL.6 - BRAIN OVULATION (01.05.2022)

A new showcase remembering the legendary GARY D! It was such a shock when he suddenly passed away in 2016. A sad day for hard dance community.

I'm building an archive of all my favorite tracks. Especially honoring and showcasing the forgotten gems produced by my favorite artists!

BIO:
I started listening to hard dance music in 1999, at the age of 12, the year I went to high school. My taste was pretty random in those early days. But soon the Bitte Ein Beat series would change all that. After purchasing vol.2 and listening it over and over, I knew I had found a new passion in life!

Back then, the term hardstyle wasn't even conceived. We called it hardhouse at first, but that actually never felt right. Luckily someone, somewhere, came up with the name for this new sound: HARDSTYLE! And it felt right immediately.

SIDE NOTE:
I love 'slow' mixing. Let the tracks breath for a bit instead of mixing 30 in 1 hour! Just my opinion ;)
