Fettes Brot ruht. König Boris schläft nicht. Der König tanzt, 24-7, mit Blitz im Gesicht, und wenn gerade kein Vulkan in der Nähe ist, auch gerne in der schönsten Neudisko von Welt. Ob sie nun in Buenos Aires steht oder in Skane/Schweden, wo Toomy Disco & Fernando respektive das Drop Out Orchestra sitzen und von dort gerade den Menschen den Bump zurückgeben. 

Drop Out Orchestra erheitern selbst den sauertöpfigsten Punk Club mit ihren unwiderstehlichen Remixen von "Blitzkrieg Bop" (Ramones) und "Pretty Vacant" (Sex Pis

Ausschlaggebend für den königlichen Anruf war ihre Version "2am" von Hiem feat. Phil Oakey (Sänger von The Human League). Toomy Disco & Fernando senden von Argentinien aus Signale, die gerade auf dem ganzen Planeten ankommen: Disco ist zurück. Und diese Disco ist neu. Man bekommt richtig Lust Rockplatten zu verbrennen, und darauf auf der Straße zu tanzen. Oder wie der König meint: "Wer jetzt nicht springt, der lebt nicht."

NEONSCHWARZ heißt seit 2012 auch das gemeinsame Projekt mit der Hamburger Sängerin Marie Curry. 2010 landeten Gips, Curry & Mauser mit „On a journey“ einen Sommerhit, der zum YouTube-Blockbuster avancierte. Seitdem warten ganze Scharen auf weiteren funkelnden Stoff von Marie Curry, die es immer wieder schafft, Rapsongs zu Dauerurlaubern im Ohr zu verwandeln. 2012 heckt sie bestimmt noch weitere musikalische Streiche aus - ob mit Neonschwarz oder auf Solopfaden. Von Kiel bis Bern kennt das neonschwarze Dreigestirn wohl jedes autonome Jugendzentrum von innen, hat in Clubs, auf Fusion Hangars und als Vorband von Frittenbude für Begeisterung gesorgt. 

Beim Hamburger Superlabel Audiolith haben die drei einen vertrauensvollen Patenonkel gefunden und sind dort in bester Gesellschaft von Bands wie Egotronic, Frittenbude und Supershirt. Bisher erschienen unter Audiolith-Flagge die Captain Gips Singles „Was ihr liebt“ und „Bettman“ sowie das Johnny Mauser Album „Die Sendung mit dem Mauser“ als Vinyl. Jetzt folgen die Doppelsingle „Heben ab / On a journey“ sowie die EP „Unter’m Asphalt der Strand“.

Our sweet little offspring, the new series under the roof of our beloved Audiolith label, is growing slowly but steadily. The Stiff Little Spinners are in town to spread the word all over the place. And the word is that contemporary electronic club music still is in high fashion in its various facets ranging from Deep- to TechHouse, from Cosmic Disco-influences to „Electro“, NeoTrance and associated styles. All these are predominantly found on the worlds dancefloors and are becoming more and more popular in our network of friends, a musical family that has evolved from a Punk background and still is fascinated by the magic of a pumping 4-2-the-floor bassdrum, an essential momentum that never grows old.

Coming up next in the Audiolith Singles Club-series is a conjunctional joint strictly aiming at the worlds dancefloors – featuring the combined forces of two artist hailing one from Berlin, the other from Hamburg and both renowned far beyond the borders of their hometown for DJ and production efforts alike.

The opener „Sonne, Park und Sterni“ is catered by long-time Audiolith-associate and family member Rampue who has been involved in musical craftmanship ever since. At the controls for Ira Atari's album, collaborational efforts with Egotronic and Plemo, several compilation features and remixes for artists like Conjure One, pandoras.box, Bratze, Supershirt, Kidstreet and others under his belt plus remarkable solo tracks on both volumes of our „Stiff Little Spinners“ series show that this man is driven by force. And so does „Sonne, Park und Sterni“ which is a sweet, melodic trip into the realms of positive TechHouse vibes, serving a seductive leitmotif and thrilling, cut-up vocal wizzardry adding a bit of extra spice to the playful loveliness that is surely influenced by Berlin's vibrant open air rave movement.

This fine EP named „Mama Was A Progrocker“ is not only announcing springtime musically but is also serving a sneak preview of what the future holds for long time fans of Rampue soundwise when it comes to forthcoming projects yet unveiled.

Delving into the realms of Slow- and DeepHouse with a warm organic feel and heavy use of multi-layered disco loops, twanging guitar sounds and carefully transformed vocal lines each and every tune contained here speaks of a deep and heartfelt love for melody, soul and romance – a tender and carressing attitude that's essential for the work of the Berlin-based producer these days.

The sound of Rampue in 2013 is not only about working intimate late night dancefloors - it's about telling love stories able to stand the test of time, it's about holding hands, breathing fresh, unpolluted air and, most of all, a unique, individual and fully shaped musical language that has matured in and emerged from Rampues studio desk throughout the past years.

Es ist viel passiert, seit Ira Atari 2011 ihr Debütalbum „Shift“ veröffentlicht hat. Inzwischen ist sie nicht mehr die einzige, die bei Audiolith die Östrogen-Stange hochhalten muss. Mit Neonschwarz und Tubbe hat das Label weiblichen Zuwachs bekommen. Trotzdem steht außer Frage: Unter allen Künstlern Audioliths sticht Ira Atari als „grande dame“ hervor. Die studierte Klavierlehrerin ist von Kassel in die große weite Welt nach Berlin gezogen. Back to zero, einen Neustart machen. Mit neuen Ideen im Kopf hat sie sich mit Phil de Gap (Ex-ULTRNX) an die Arbeit zu einem neuen Song gemacht. Phil de Gap ist bekannt für seine Arbeit als Produzent (u. A. für Jennifer Rostock), Remixer, Mischer und Mastering Engineer.

„Wish I Had“ ist das Ergebnis der Kollaboration und knüpft nahtlos an den Charme des Albums an. Eine catchy Electropop Nummer ganz im Stil Ira Ataris. Prägend ist wie immer ihre markante Stimme, die zwischen dem wilden Sound für eine klare Linie sorgt. Textlich handelt „Wish I Had“ von enttäuschter Liebe und dem Wunsch, einfach mal vergessen zu können. „I wish I had no time to think of you. I wish I had better to do.” Zu Melancholie last sich eben doch ganz gut tanzen.

Auch als eigentlich editgegner habe ich entschieden mal einen edit rauszubringen, will aber agnz besonders betonen, dass er nicht das wäre ohne das was das Original ohnehin mit sich bringt. Der Originalsong von Clickclickdecker ist einfach ein wunderbares Stück Musik, welches durch diesen Edit nur gewürdigt werden soll.
