Jaded Disruptors 074: Mark Greene

753 is a duo from Barcelona with an enormous passion for hard techno music and audiovisual arts. Their goal is to do something different and creative they can be proud of.

The name 753 comes from an 11th century samurai code of honour that inspired an entire nation to fight for its ideals. This code lives on in our world of constant change: through discipline, honour and loyalty, the code lasted in the memory of humanity until it became the legacy of 753.

The 753 duo produces hard techno. They intend to innovate that scene and show what they are capable of. The people who discover them really appreciate their work and style, and as a result they have been able to work with record labels such as Gomboc, Hard Vision, Definition Of Hardtechno, Märked, SCTR.

Learn the rope of how to create a track a Dub Techno track! Discover or re-discover how powerful the Ableton stock plugin are! In this template we only have used Ableton Live Stock Plugins, from the creation of the song, to the mixing stage, and finally the mastering!

You can deeply study how we created the song, from the session view to the arrangement part. In extra you can check our Youtube Channel to get more insight of the project.

DUB TECHNO 4 ABLETON TEMPLATE (LIVE 11)

For the 7th installment of our mixtape series we have invited Irish music producer and qualified sound engineer Mark Greene to feature. 

After completing his training in the Sound Training Centre in Dublin under Will Kinsella (Hybrasil), Mark began signing some early tracks to various labels in Europe. Quite soon Mark was releasing tracks on well established labels like Bush Records, Naked Lunch, Elektrax and Carl Cox’ longstanding imprint Intec Digital. 

A string of popular releases allowed Mark to play all over Europe with regular trips to Amsterdam in particular for the annual ADE each Autumn.

An avid drummer as a child, Mark has always had an affinity for heavy kickdrums in his tracks. As the years have gone by his productions have gained some bpms and Mark’s music is now finding its way into the hands of DJs at the forefront of the industrial techno scene.

Rebekah, I Hate Models, Theo Nasa, Chris Liebing, D.A.V.E. The Drummer and more are supporting his productions of late, particularly his recent tracks on his new label DORCHA Records - meaning ‘dark’ in the Irish language.

Mark launched DORCHA Records in 2020 to circumnavigate the typical months-long wait to release on other labels. The label is a place for Mark to release tracks on his own schedule and experiment with various different styles and creative approaches. 

The aim of the label is to identify new artists and build a small roster to carry the DORCHA flag.

Each month you can tune into Mark’s Progress Radio show for one hour of unreleased music from himself and some of the best producers in techno. Broadcasting on several stations around the world, the show will reach the 100 episode milestone in 2022.

@hybrid.act is a Techno DJ & Producer from Brazil has been based in LA for 7 years, total. His background draws from Psy-Trance back in 1998 when he got in touch with electronic music. 10 years later, the Techno scene began to gain traction in Brazil. He claims to have fell in love with the sound and started digging for artists like Popof, Spektre, Chris Liebing, Boris Brejcha, Super Flu, Ahmet Sendil, Khainz and many others.

Hybrid.Act project was created in 2021 to showcase his Hypnotic Techno tastes. His DJ sets are described as Hypnotic tracks with spatial ambience and a groovy vibe.
