great music Audric - is this your T3 - some of the sounds remind me of an Oberheim that Miles used to play

Another outstanding track......so good....

Another track from about 25 years ago!  I finally got my hands on the good old Alesis 8-track ADAT recording machine, which marked the beginning of my music productions involving more than just 4 tracks to mix from.
On this track, I had the pleasure of having well known Philly jazz saxophonist BEN SCHACHTER joining me on this quirky fusion adventure titled "LUNAR ZONE".
Interestingly, for fans of Ben Schachter, this recording may be the very first documented recording of him playing a tenor sax. Previous to this time, Ben Schachter was always seen and heard playing exclusively soprano saxophones. I remember he had just purchased a used tenor, and thought why not try it on my tune.
Like all tunes from the "Fusion Quest" era, other than my guitar (and in this case Ben's sax), all other sounds come from the Korg T-3.

It's always a pleasure to discover through SoundCloud the wealth of wonderfully talented and creative musicians out in the world... all sharing their own distinct and artistic creations.  I'm very happy to be a part of this amazing, creative, and supportive community.

My main instrument is the guitar (mainly electric... sometimes acoustic). I also play on occasion bass and keyboards (strictly for recording on my own compositions).  Most of my music tracks on SC are created, recorded, and produced in my home studio.  Recently, I've been making good use of midi sequencing to ultimately produce tracks that I otherwise would find almost impossible to do by other means. 

Fusion (my mix of jazz, rock, funk, soundtrack, etc.) is the best way to describe most of the music that I produce these days.  I've enjoyed playing and recording many styles/genres of music in the past, and all these past musical experiences influence me today in the way I compose and play.

You will find here on my SC page samplings of new and older works of mine.  The track picture icons more or less help identify what tracks belong to other associated tracks. And I will try to present some extra information for the individual tracks for those that are interested as well.
