On Your Own

I wrote this a couple of days ago, sitting at my piano among the packing boxes.  It was just a flow of feelings piece.  I let it flow through my hands and out through the piano, trying to express my feelings of sadness at leaving this beautiful place and excitement at heading north for a new adventure by the sea in Northumberland. Just because we can and why not give it a try, get some sea air, walk on the beach, listen to the waves.  Apologies this is a warts and all recording on my phone with an occasional hesitation while I work out where I’m going.  I hope you enjoy the journey.

Passes fast, what seems important and nice, 
and remains on the edge! 
You’re looking at me through bushes of snow.
From your tree-house I am small and you up there are flying.
And nothing detains your flight, you are free! 
Oh, happy day! 

I take my power to myself, 
horses on the run, sparrow that crosses my way.
Over and over again the sleep takes me inwards. 
Dream show, let me travel! 
My wish for security. Does’nt exist, I reply.
Living at the edge of day, rested?
Man and woman, a vehicle put down in the warmth?
Taking off chains, this chance exists. 
Supporting wheel saying thanks to all which lent a hand. 
Woman and man, and springtime at the lake.

 I choose heaven, often, word which stands for luck. 
Where those meet who are getting on well.   
Place for all, growing in everybody.
In between rocks, meadows, gale. 
In between the time comes and goes, roasting, preparing. 
Putting up with that what is given, and I know nothing. 

Whether I live in fullness, enthusiastic and on the trace of fun 
without considering my losses, or saving me up, 
whether I am committed, understand my heart wind – 
however, he sometimes sleeps me to the wall, 
lays me down in old grass, there I play with my fingers – 
whether I understand the way, collecting me, discipline and hope, 
tenaciously persisting, or not, forgetting the apple dream. 
Now, finally, my pain mentions itself completely by itself 
put to the bird's wall and his echo goes down in the call of the world

However, now my body sings this song louder, 
hand and foot, the back, the head. The heart.
Approaching the lake, the gate, my path full of roots, 
footbridge in the land of day. 
Rich blessing on the road, oh happy day.
