Steven Sedalia is an emerging singer-songwriter forging a folk fusion sound incorporating various styles from around the world, including Appalachian twang, island roots, Hawaiian mele, and Sanksrit devotional chanting. Spiced and served into love songs, these flavors combine with Sedalia's bright voice and summery acoustic guitar for an emotionally nourishing and energetic serenade. 

Being raised in the countryside foothills of North Carolina has instilled in Sedalia a deep reverence for the the land and that is emergent in his songs. Currently based in Hawai'i, this praise seems to have multiplied as the music mixes the moods of devotion, romance, wonder, awe, joy of abundance, and exploration of love.

I haven't submitted anything for a long time because it's become impossible to find the time to spend here the way I used to. However I still need to submit new music now and then. I added several new tracks but within days, I ended up having to delete them all, now I'll have to submit them again.  I realize I've lost a lot of momentum since I've been gone but what can I do... I know many of you understand.

ClarileleMike has been compared to both Leonard Cohen and Jonathan Richman -- not favorably, of course, but still. He appears frequently in Boston clubs, usually at the bar, or in the dumpster around the side if it's after closing time. He plays the clarinet, ukulele, guitar, mandolin, and a few other instruments, all badly.
