From 2009 on, Rampa made a name of himself through Keinemusik, his own little d.i.y.-cosmos, being not only label, but also crew of likeminded DJs, producers and friends. The teamwork within this realm has seen a serious number of productions and collaborations, particularly with fellow producer &ME, not to forget the rest of the bunch, Adam Port, Reznik and Monja. 

Besides, he’s got an array of other collaborations and releases under his belt, put out on imprints like Circoloco, Innervisions, Diynamic, Afterlife, Cocoon, Ninja Tunes / Counter Records, Strictly Rhythm, Kompakt, 2020 Vision, Freerange, Bpitch Control, Defected or Crosstown Rebels.

The events of the last few years have seen Rampa focussing more and more on the production side of things, be it studio time or the inauguration of the TEILE project – his own company to produce and distribute analogue effects, custom built for DJ-purposes. Certainly also an outlet for a slight nerdism, that includes not only studio gear, but instruments in general. When it comes to DJing itself, he is going for a less is more approach these days, choosing bookings and playing more consciously.

Jakob Seidensticker was born in the beautiful and open-minded city of Hamburg in Northern Germany.
His vinyl only Dj sets captivate through his broad number of styles from melting house, old school house, via romanian techno to broken beats and Italo House, while also playing his own productions and track ideas – always on point. Not too early, never too late.

After listening to techno from Detroit Jakob Seidensticker began to learn more about the myths of djing, creating his own style of mixing, and began to dive deeper into electronic music and its production – this was about 20 years ago.

Jakob Seidensticker is one third of the internationally known and highly respected trio Wareika, alongside Henrik Raabe and Florian Schirmacher. Touring around the world they have been producing and releasing music on premium labels, such as Perlon, Visionquest, Circus Company and Mule Musiq, just to name a few.

As a second live project, Jakob is also touring with his fellow Wareika companion Henrik Raabe as Silky Raven, spreading an even more synthesizer based sound – for example on Damian Lazarus label Rebellion/Crosstown Rebels or with the lebanese producer Nesta to honour the oriental sound and traditions in a modernly way.

Due to his great expertise in production Jakob Seidensticker has started several new projects with other artists like Snad (USA, Smallville), Boronas (Greece, Minibar), Ada Kaleh (Romania, R&S), MELINA (Hamburg, Houseworx) and many more.

Keinemusik is a network with the label as the pulse pumping centre. Driven particularly by the spirit that moves the collective behind the imprint. The spirit to find your own agenda and let nobody get in the way. The spirit of refining House and Techno off the beaten path. Be it within their own tracks, within productions of other sorts or DJ-sets. The spirit of recall value within record- and flyer-artworks and everything intermediate in word and image surrounding releases and parties. And the spirit of diversification – Rampa’s effect-gadget-venture TEILE being one example. Keinemusik’s own booking department ‘Worldwide Dancing Club’, established in 2018, being another.

Keinemusik has been around since 2009. It has been naming an existing friendship and linked interests of the four members – &ME, Adam Port, Rampa and Reznik. A more or less constant count of five releases per year have been released ever since, solely laid down by members of the crew. And a considerable count of label-parties went down, not only in Berlin, but around all international focal points for electronic music. And surely, there’s plenty more where those came from. So see you soon in a record store or on a dancefloor in your area!
