Electric Indigo, DJ, composer and musician from Vienna, has performed in 45 countries around the globe so far since 1989. Her name stands for the intelligent and independent interpretation of techno and electronic music. In 1998 she founded the transnational female:pressure network. Her album "Ferrum" was released in March 2020 on Editions Mego.

It is a huge pleasure to have Electric Indigo play for our 31st edition of Aria Series. The Austrian DJ, composer and founder of the inclusivity initiative female: pressure is one the most influential European Techno artists acting as a true icon in our scene. Her inspiring career began in Vienna in 1989. Nowadays, having played in 45 countries across Europe, Asia and the Americas, she is internationally known for her multichannel experimental live sets and energetic mixes. Being a regular guest at Berghain, she recently performed at their re-opening night in October. In 2018, ARIA had the honour to host Electric Indigo at our 12-hours takeover at The Cause, London.

Also known as part of the duo Modern Heads, 2006/2007 he released may sussessful Eps: “Paper Toys”, “Ordinary Madness” and “Gliding” are just a few pearls of a style which is now one the most followed and have been inspiring many artists from the international techno scene.
