Mutable Echoes is an almost miniature piece, evocative and subtle in nature. While the marimba offers a continue flow, the guitars interventions are as echoes in continues change and reshaping. 

Composed and performed on tuesday 16, february 2021 at the Liszt Akadémia Main Hall during the the Contemporary Ensemble of the Academy of Music Concert.

In Sufism sama is the practice of listening to music and singing to reinforce ecstasy and induce mystical trance. Sufism also proclaims that music prepares the soul for a deeper comprehension of divine realities. Music, like other beautiful expressions of existence, leads the Sufi close to the divine, to the source of beauty. The sama was considered by many scholars as a legitimate tool to bring the soul to the sacred.
