Through his music he shares testimonies of how his relationship with God grew because he trusted God and want to use that blueprint to inspire others. 
His positive message is for both believers in Christ and none believers.
Shane often speaks on wanting to help young people find their identities and help them build a personal relationship with God. In some of his work he speaks on how he perseveres throughout difficult times in his younger days by trusting God.
