Starting the new year with a fresh episode of Altrove podcast , we're thrilled to introduce Aurelius Scott, a visionary curator and meticulous music selector from Denver, Colorado. 

Aurelius, a fervent record enthusiast, delves into the ambient depths, crafting immersive journeys through his appearances on podcasts such as IO Records, Parallel Perception, and Tech Support Music. His podcast series, "Anodynic Frequencies," featured artists who share his affection for ambient and deeper techno, including names like Polygonia, Zemög, Adhemar just to name a few. 

“I was first introduced to Manuel through my podcast where I had the pleasure of hosting him, we quickly connected over the same passion for deeper moody techno and his style was an exact fit for the channel's vision. I have been a fan of his music and his series ever since. It was an honor to be asked for a contribution to his podcast earlier this year. The mood of the mix was curated by an early fall morning when the dense fog settled among the fields and daylight struggled to break through the trees.  The session starts with some darker subdued tones and slowly begins to breathe in more energy as the day progresses from early morning to dawn. I tried to capture this natural build with longer transitions and subtle progressions. The end of this mix has more of a heavy presence of pulsating deep techno.”


Aurelius has always been attracted to deeper cuts of music, fascinated by the world of rhythmic drums and hypnotic ambiance. in 2020 he started a series Anodynic Frequencies that is dedicated to fellow musicians with the same passion for music.  Since then he has connected with many talented individuals and has had the opportunity to work with many of them through guest mixes and promotions. In the upcoming year, he hopes to continue building relationships with more artists and continue to help contribute to a scene he deeply admires.

Aurelius has always been attracted to deeper cuts of music, fascinated by the world of rhythmic drums and hypnotic ambiance. 

in 2020 he started a series Anodynic Frequencies that is dedicated to fellow musicians with the same passion for music. Since then he has connected with many talented individuals and has had the opportunity to work with many of them through guest mixes and promotions. 

It has been through this platform that we came in contact and talked about recording a mix for Hypnosis, of which you are now listening to the end result of it.

Some words by Aurelius about this mix:
"When I was first invited to the channel I wanted to paint a dreamlike landscape. Slowly drifting into the subconscious with subtle progression and brooding low ends. Eventually leading to a feverish current of rhythmic percussion before drifting deeper and deeper with layered sounds to curate a deep state of hypnosis"

Greetings!I Time to kick off year 2 of TSM Reports. (sorry for the delay this month!) The format for TSM Reports has been pretty open and straightforward, CD-ish length mixes from various dj's around the country. This one comes from one of the OG members of the Tech Support Music collective, Aurelius Scott. He was there in the Austin days, and even though life has led him on a domestic path recently, he continues to scour the innerweb for deep cuts of atmospheric sounds and dub techno soundscapes for his own enjoyment and yours as well.
