Element 11 is always a highlight of my year. My camp, Catalün Village, had to scale back this year due to various scheduling issues... so we brought the "Kittylün Village" and it was so cute!

I had the pleasure of playing this set at our Little Titty Kitty Tiki Kiki on Friday afternoon. This was my second time playing at E11 -- but it's only the first out of three times that I played this year!

Finally got my recording back from LIB and I'm immediately transported back to the rollercoaster of emotions I experienced that weekend. 

Between the heat, dust and being around tens of thousands of people after going through a pandemic, it's safe to say I was a little rusty at festivaling. On top of it, my legs felt like floppy noodles from how anxious I was to play the prime set time Friday night at the Junkyard. This is something I experience often before gigs, the sweats, self deprecating internal thoughts, imposter syndrome. I questioned if I belonged here or if I earned it. Then I mixed in and immediately felt at home. I thought to myself "Bitch you know what you're doing" and went on to play one of those "highlights of my career" sets for me personally. 

The rest of the night and weekend was a breeze, and the magic of LIB was amplified. I was able to see the thousands of smiling faces in front of me, the above and beyond details The Do Lab had added and updated, and realized this was so many people's first festival back and they could not be happier about it. I could not be happier about it.
