Oh my MIDI stings! This sounds amazing! I'm getting chills!

I still remember the first time I heard this song... Definitely gives you the tingles.

Recently I was inspired by the work of Bastien Grivet, who's a wonderful and talented artist, to compose a song around this breathtaking image.I wanted the music to invoke the feelings brought on by this powerful and moody atmosphere, trying to tell the story of the lonely character in this painting as well as the rebellion. 
I wanted to explore this landscape musically and emotionally. I also experimented with layering electronic and acoustic sounds to mimic those of a train.
