For the sixth episode, we have a Ukrainian artist, Komponente.

In the past, being heard as KIM he used to perform together with Dmitry Zharkikh. 
In 2018, after a hiatus of three years, he got back in the game launching the label "Kultura Zvuka" and releasing a split with Bodin & Jacob "Trulla" EP on his native Tvir. 

At this stage, writes music and runs Trance Pandemic label together with Eugene Kurilo. In addition to producing, he also did bookings at Kultura Zvuka Studiya and Yama party series in Kharkiv.

A1 - GETTING THERE

For the second PODMATES opus, we are glad to our close friends Papang & Helios. 

After the creation of Discovery Music in 2019  in Paris with two great editions inviting our residents Lawis&Tiano and Nemo Vachez, they launch their collective Distill Music in early 2020 in Bordeaux alongside Prince Chouchou and Pablo. 

After one year of residence at the infamous Parallel where they invited great diggers all along (Unai Trotti, Lamache, Quest) they start to conquer French electro & house scene by showcasing their music for several collectives and parties such as Viatiques, Sarcus festival or Superdaronne.

After 6 months of harassement, they finally made us this 2 hours podcast travelling between great electro, house and techno vibes.

With part 4 of the Astra Spectra series, we’re excited to have BinaryFunction showcasing three intense and dark electro cuts. The iconic Carl Finlow delivers a stunning remix of “We Will Destroy”

Pressed on a limited run of orange vinyl, the color and name of the EP correspond to Sodium on the Fraunhofer Absorption Spectrum of our sun.

Stefan Weise aka Syrte envisioned the “Astra Spectra” series as a celebration of mankind’s vision for space exploration, past and future, while also expressing a love for space science, science fiction and the spirit of discovery. Each release in the series is representative of a color frequency in our sun’s absorption spectrum and the element which is represented by that, hence the name, which means “Solar Spectrum”.
