Abducted Records is proud to announce, ABDUCTED LTD, our very first offshoot label which is dedicated 100% to Drum and Bass! We are launching with the mindset of QUALITY drum and bass, that is not bound by specific style of subgenre's. As you will be able to tell from our launch LP "A New Breed", featuring : Cooh, Fortitude, Sinister Souls, Stranjah, Mason, Subsonik & 3am, Netics, Fendi, Cemtek, Atic, Braincrack, Evoke, Fendi, Jahe, Liminal, Picota & Kumbh, SICKorWELL, RA:SKL and Dioptrics, we have assembled what we feel like is one of the most robust lineup's of 2014.
 
Meshing legends with the new comers, and everything in-between, we hope to redefine people's perception of a traditional record label by pushing forward a community of artists who all bring something unique to the table. Breaking the boundaries of the exclusionary standard set by so many before us, we welcome all drum and bass lovers to unite and push forward the genre as a whole!  Keep an eye on the horizon, as we plan to have nothing but solid drum and bass with each release. 

Track #9 comes from the madmen NETICS! You may be familiar with them from their feature on the Alien Army 2013 on Abducted Records, and you know these guys mean BUSINESS! Look for their full length album dropping this summer on Abducted LTD!

Our second release, featuring Cemtek, is one that may take you by surprise if you havent heard of him yet. Cemtek is quickly rising through the ranks of the dnb community with his meticulous production. This release showcases some of the heaviest basslines, and just absolutely brilliant neuro type structure with the crispiest synths this side of the universe. If you love artists like Calyx & TeeBee, Noisia and the likes, you will be sure to love CEMTEK!

Borderline - Flashes of the Future

Borderline, AKA Richard Gibbins has been around for a few years quietly cementing is reputation for hard-edged minimal beats. Eventually he caught the attention of State of Mind, who released his ‘Borderline EP’ in 2013. Naturally the next step was to produce an album and so he set to work on “Flashes of the Future”. 

Flashes of the Future is 12 tracks of accomplished drum and bass. From the darker end to the liquid minimal tip, its all there. The LP features stellar vocal contributions from the likes of Bailey Wiley, MC Fava and Coppa, plus a cameo from State of Mind themselves.

The Godfather of U.S. Drum and Bass teams up with the Rick Deckard of Drum and Bass to provide you a groove that the infamous Goldie described as: "a tune that shoulda been on headz".

Japanese-Laotian-Australian artist http://soundcloud.com/fuj kicks of 2016 in much the same fashion as 2014 and 15 – with a hotly anticipated release on AutomAte Deep!  With such a cultural crossover building up his personal influences, there's something uniquely diverse about Fuj's productions. Clean and crisp on first glance, peer deeper into the abyss and intricate soundscapes appear from below the surface.

Death Trader weaves a thick electric sunrise; effortless, dream-like atmosphere and totemic instruments appear over the horizon, supplanted by scratching synth bass and steadily thumping sub.

24 You Must Follow (Dieselboy + Kaos Remix)

‘The Frog' unites Fuj & Cirrus for a snapping, driving underground anthem which lets you know exactly what these artists are about. Lumbering but never once losing impact, it's littered with nastily distorted LFO and grinding beat patterns. Not for the faint hearted, Fuj & Cirrus don't disappoint. Cirrus comes next with ‘Ether', again bringing the edgier, grunting sounds present throughout its predecessor, while utilising vocal samples to take you through the drops. The pace is then increased, switching between layers and giving no hope of pulling yourself out of its construction line of snipping drums and lasers.

Fuj offers up next, with climatic, quaking sub bass and smashing kick throughout ‘Gun of a Son'. Its percussion and crashing breaks are intimidating, killing any commercial vibes in the vicinity. Rounding off the EP is ‘Aphotic Zone'; Cirrus jumps on remix duties for Fuj this time, once again integrating their production might and creating a towering concoction of creepy atmospherics and wavering voice notes.

Fuj and Cirrus are not to be underestimated. Between them they're invading the underground and moving towards the big leagues.

We share a mutual love of dark, techy drum & bass, although we are involved with a range of other bass-led genres. We DJ and write music individually and together. We run the AutomAte family of digital labels, including AutomAte, AutomAte Deep and AutomAte Tech. AutomAte aims to bring you the best in edgy drum & bass, aimed square at the dancefloor, from rising stars to established artists, from chunky steppers to dark rollers and all manner of other fancy-ticklers. The Deep label aims to put the warmth back into drum & bass with a range of deep, eclectic, inspirational music, influenced by anything from the Far East to South America and everything in between. The Tech label showcases a variety of gritty drum & bass music, from amen tracks and heavy-steppers to neuro and hardcore styles. We like it grimy with a slight attitude problem and an infectious groove.
